I'm using Android 8.0.0 with the new Webnovel update (3.0.1)
If I view a new chapter from my library (i.e. open a book, and scroll down to another chapter), then try to open the profile tab, the app will immediately crash. I can view the profile tab just fine if I don't open a book, or open a book but don't scroll to a new chapter.

In the past and sometimes now. I have problem with my low specs Chinese unknown tablet.
Yet in my phone, the apps has no problem. However seeing Android 8.0 must mean your device is newer.
Try to record the screen using streaming apps if you could replicate the issue.
Finding the bug is hard.
