Members gain about 18-20 free Spirit Stones a day. Why call it library when you give enough to members just for one novel's one chapter a day? I suggest giving Spirits Stones to every Power Stones and Energy Stones bring spend.

Story so far

Alright, I'm not going to demand that everything have to be free. I am a premium member that pay for Spirit Stone every month. But get rid of free premium chapter and sneakily erase any mention of it from Book of Answers is too bad for my taste.

When I started reading on Webnovel I'm not even bother to register. Remember chapters you unlocked from viewing ad? It just two newest chapters and not going to stay newest for long. No problem reread the old one. I just subscribe to RSS and search for new chapter of novels I followed. It was a good days.

When Premium kicked in. I gave in and registered. Not so long I pay for Spirit Stones as I believe it would support writers, translators, editors, and the site itself, preferably in that order. But more and more novels gone premium and 18-20 free Spirit Stones from check-in and Power Stones and Energy Stones no longer kept up with expense. I found my self paid for new Spirit Stones every month. Novels got dropped from spend list and I have to wait for month for free chapter to catch up again.

The heck that is reality

I found out about this mess on Saturday because on Friday I have meeting and just log-in for daily task without reading. Fortunately at first I planned to purchase new batch of Spirit Stones this Sunday. Know what? I'm not going to buy it now. Currently I have 9 premium novel in library. Just how much I need to read it just one chapter a day without even catching up to the latest chapter? Now even free novels have 3/4 of it locked behind ads.

What's the point of membership when you need to view ads for every free novel's chapter you already watch it through?

What's the point of levels and gaining experiences when only first use of Power and Energy Stone its that all matter? Gaining more of them as you level up give you nothing!

Suggestion

  • For every Power Stones and Energy Stones use, give member free Spirit Stones. With that level 4 (that's me) members gain about 32-35 Spirit Stones a day. Enough for 2-3 premium chapters everyday. Honestly, I believe give customers enough free spending will let them to finally succumb and spend more of their own money. All you have done it to make us tighten our purse.

  • Current 5 Spirit Stones per Power Stones and Energy Stones use might be too high for you if you follow my suggestion. You can lower it to 4 or even 3, or make it harder to gain EXP, but nonetheless just open the flood gate and increase the level ceiling already.

  • Come out clean and just announce it honestly! Or you have to bring Book of Answers into premium program just for us customers to know the heck is going on?

        Minimum of 6 and Max of 16 from watching a video (on app only)
        Minimum of 6 and Max of 16 from checking in
        Max of 10 from energy and power stones votes.

        The level system just doesn’t make any sense. More incentives should be arrange for each level to benefit the readers. Currently, everyone gets the same amount of SS for their votes irrespective of the levels.
        They should also have some sort of discount towards SS purchase, and not the 1SS off for novels listed during TGIFs.

            QueenCL I read Webnovel on PC so I gain noting from watching ads. But check-in give you 6-16 stones!? I usually got 7-8 stones, 10 if lucky, and 12 is miracle. That's why I based my number as 18-20 free Spirit Stones.

            Either get more Spirit Stones in first use as you level up or get it from every use in small amount. Current system give me no reason to gain level and EXP at all!

              do you all really think QI gives a fuck about you non-paying customers? You contribute zero to this website so why should they give you more free stuff? They wont earn anything by being charitable to you

              So do not pretend to have some awesome ideas just to get some more free stuff if you wont hand over money.

                You read it wrong. He is a premium user. He was going to get a new batch of spirit stones but decided against it because there was no value to it.

                His argument is both premium and non premium users still get the same deal when it shouldn’t be so as free users do not pay.
                He wants incentives to be applied towards the premium membership since there is none as of right now. His suggestions are bonuses that could be implemented towards the premium system for paying users as well as the leveling system.

                Free and premium users have equal access to the FREE spirit stones. There should be at least few benefits that come with the premium tag and not only the one sided spending on spirit stones.

                  Yeah this crossed whatever line I had with the system. After my SS runs out I'm not going to re-up. Not worth my time or money if it going to a company that makes decisions without letting anyone in the community know.

                    And in defence of free member who won't hand over their money, they do in fact contribute something to the site, not zero in anyway! Advertisers did not paid site for all those noisy ads to watch itself. it's not like QI got nothing from free members!

                    thecrench I'm glad all these things happened after my purchased Spirit Stones ran out. If they just announce it openly I might grumble and try to plan my stones expense carefully but this dishonesty is too much.
