I hope Qidian / Webnovel can remove the current translation group of the novel Otherworldly evil monarch. They have been claiming about mass release for about a month maybe but can not even release at their normal rate. We were promised quality and reliable releases on Webnovel when it first opened. You guys even said you won't tolarate if a novel don't release their required quota. This novel deserves a better translator. Thanks.

It is very hard to get a translator. Try to ask other novel which wanted any translator dead or alive.
MasterRabbink are you saying an organization like qidian international won't get a translator if they are really looking for it? And at the pace novel saga is updating OEM , you can almost call it dropped.

Qwertg Yes. The translator had the right to pick their novel too. WN would only suggested the title.
It is hard to find one who would want to continue other people work.
A new translator would have to check old terms used. If one made mistakes in using wrong terms flame would arrive.

Qwertg It was stated more than once that Novelsaga is a "Fantranslation" meaning that they are not bound by the contract of at least 5 chapter per week or any kind of promises.
Now you have to think as Webnovel, you have 2 options:
-1: replace Novelsaga and put a new Group onto the project, this will take time, a new glossary has to be created, the new group has to work over existing words and phrases. You'll loose time, money and 1 Translator that you dont have for other project
-2: Let them stick with their novel and put the other translator that you didnt use to replace Novelsaga for a new project that will gather you revenue. Even if that new project only gathers half as much as OEM does, it still provides more revenue than a single Novel

MasterRabbink i was one of the first person to mention about ash. That sob stopped other people from translating it and would only update before the 3 month period. Anyway dropped that novel. Would probably drop this too if there is no better translator. Qidian shouldn't at least make this half assed translation group's novel premium .

Qwertg At least this group still move forward at turtle pace. Meanwhile you can check other novel. At least Webnovel oversee this project.
I have another novel which experience jerk translator but it is free now. The quality was said to be dropped but this pace and quality is more than enough. This is why I welcomed WN since the WW vs WN day as a reader. Even tough I know it would be premium one day. I hope as the IP holder they woild be more professional.
Meanwhile WN track record of completion is started to be questioned lately. Some of novels here went to hiatus. Slow turtle is better than a snail or a dead one.
I think it was the time for WN to have some internal translations team to pick hiatus novel and subsidize. From popular novel income.
Use the ads banner to promote less popular novels. Webnovel has that ability to make unpopular novel popular.

How can I use it...:)As for Otherworldly Monarch, I have follow it since it first began translation on wordpress. It has been dropped and slowed numerous time already. I believe once the translator can continue its ok. As long as they don't keep promising and not delivering, you can give them another chance. It's better that the serial being dropped or placed on hiatus again.

Another month , no chapters yet .
If Novel Saga cant do the TL , they should drop it . Maybe just maybe some one else might pick it up .
