Sooo not to be that guy, but I need a male protagonist tag, as when I read I like to have a connection with the MC, and these girl protagonists I can't connect with cause I'm not a girl. Plz and thx.

I like the idea. Tag for either Male or female protagonist. Tho most of the time here atleast it's easy to tell of it's a female protagonist. They all seem to fall under same type of plot.

MasterRabbink what if a novel got a wrong tag due to trolls? Not saying I've seen that, but if you say 5 people adding a tag makes it public then it could happen.

AbyssalLord Actually it really pisses me off that they have a Ladies Pick category and not a Male Pick category. I'm a woman and this bothers me btw. I also hate that when choosing your target audience you have to choose male or female. I believe my story is for everyone.

BabyTanuki lot of stories are for everyone. Tho imo some stories are tested towards certain genders. Nothing wrong with doing a targeted story towards a certain gender. Tho even tho it might target a certain gender doesn't mean the other gender wont like it either.

LtBeefy But the tagging will make a reader skip certain novel.

For example: It's Not Easy to Be a Man After Travelling to the Future. Even if you are male, you should check that. BabyTanuki's novel also fall into similar genre. An action with Female MC. Most male MC will skip the 'Ultimate Sex System' if it is based on MC.

I believe Tanuki had more readers after she changed her title for a while. Gwahahaha.

MasterRabbink LOL yep. I did change that title for a bit and a lot of the people who hopped on board during that time stayed. hehe, marketing strategy!
