    Not all writer get money. Some even wrote for fun. FanFic would find it is hard to get contract. I don't know about Erotica. No Erotica author get contract yet. BL also still questioned. I don't know whether Webnovel being a Chinese company could legally contract a BL story.

    To get money (monetize) in this site. You have to be contracted with Webnovel. The option was selling your novel as premium and receiving Gift (aka donation). Remember only paid Spirit Stones would mean something. Free SS = 0.

    There are some requirement, but the key is writing 200k words and be popular (check the Power Stones Rank).

    If you can't get a contract. You can make a Patreon tell your readers to go there (authors usually giving 'special' advance chapter or perhaps a extra non important to the story chapter there). Perhaps putting your Ko-Fi account. Paypal account, etc.

    Some write here, to get 'Alpha' Feedback, then take it down to sell in Amazon.

    If you want to get a contract with Webnovel, reach Top Rank (the lowest Rank to get a contract is around Top 30). Webnovel will contact you. Else, you should reach them trough a google doc form. Try to join Author Discord and Facebook Group. There is a link to the document in the facebook group at least.

    There is a big requirement for you if you contracted. Can you do that?
