As of 9/25/19; The Webnovel App on my IPhone 6s has stopped updating the novels. There is no reason why it did this and has not changed until now.
Do any others suffer this?

Mobile App Not Updating

Many people experienced this. However, the 'iOS' devs is rarely here. Try Android or Web bugs, the Devs will appear. No solution for this, except you should manually checked the Table of Contents/Contents.
This is a rough tricks which you can use temporary:
Try using the mobile webnovel website. (And pin them to homescreen as an apps from Safari (will need newer safari)). iOS 11.3 or higher since it requires Safari. It didn't show the number of Chapter yet, but I can see whether there is new update. (This is called PWA or Website as Mobile Apps).
Here is the introduction and the guide on how to do it. (You may use this to other PWA enable website, outside Webnovel).
