QIDIAN I know it's a business, but WTF are you doing WITH GOD AND DEVIL WORLD?

The FIrst 954 CHAPTERS are FREE with out AD/WALL then u suddenly put AD/WALL beginning from CHAPTER 114........

Are you planning on LOCKING it AGAIN? is it because THE TOTAL VIEWS ot GDW reach 10million+ that why you put AD/WALL......... I know it free from beginning and you have the right to lock or put add wall on it....... but I will call it SHAMELESS BUSINESS..........

    Two of my favorite novels are now expensive as Frick, how much can Quidian mess up like this?!

    I know it's fair to give the translator some SS since they're paid to translate this, but this is being too greedy!!

    Unless you plan on giving us more SS in the future, then destroy this pathetic and problematic system of yours or Quidian international will no longer be. Not because someone literally destroyed it, but because it's a huge major turnoff.

    Very frustrating but it is better than not having any option to get the chapters for free. At least we can still have some Spirit Stones but yeah it is so darn annoying...

    I am treating most of these novels as "dropped" novels lol. I feel bad for the translator but I do not support QI with this BS. I bet in the future, every novel under Qidian is going to be locked after chapter 100.

    Mahesvara007 they already did that to a different series before this. Note that the lock doesn't disappear even if you watch the ad. They can still relock or make you watch an ad again in the future because you won't be able to track what you unlocked before.

    It's why I don't start any series now, since I'm already reading two premium series. It's not worth it because you don't know if it'd be an adwall or paywall, and you don't know when it will come.

        I reread The Sacred Ruins a couple of months ago and paid stones for every chapter there was. Now it's locked once again

        Damn it Qidian! Time to look for a job!

          they should be able to track which account has read the NOVEL when it was free and know which account is gonna start reading from the day they gonna implement the add/wall or lock chapter........... THEIR PARENT company is a BILLION DOLLAR and they can't even create a program/script to check who's account should be given free...........

          How will readers TRUST a company who always does SHAMELESS things............ I have a long patience but THERE will be a point where you gonna become a PIRATE if they keep on DOING IT..........

                  Honestly i dont see any hope of this app getting any better. I wished they looked up to webtoon line app. Everything is free to read. But reality is cruel

                  Just don't buy or spend any SS at all, well... I admit I bought some but now it's just soo ridiculously expensive!
                  this is the case for the old age microtransaction, free but somehow even more expensive compared to buying the whole item/game/anything.

                  I spend more money than the price of AAA games on warframe but they deserve it, you know why? because of their fair business and fair practice!

                  Webnovel/qidian on the other hand goes down the road of shameless practice...

                    Blackhawkrider I see what you mean, and that's the big problem. Voting helps to motivate the original authors. While comments do help, a lot of original authors still want to try and make their way up the rankings, it just helps them gauge how their novel has grown.

                    Also, the author would have to make a contract for it to actually go premium. The chance of their novel going premium is rather low unless it reaches up to top 5-10 territory, though I might not be 100% right with that info.

                        They always lack money. So what’s the best why to get some moneyy? say it is for the author AND the translator... so people will feel obliged to pay.

                          ill tell you honestly, i had novels i follow here, but after all this bs with stones etc.... prices are insane for very little reward, id rather go play mobiles games and read on other websites when i find sth that catches my eye, hre i dont even check the power or other rankings, the only thing to read here is original novels until the author leaves because they get bs on their side as well as no support for their writing, hope this website dies

                                There are 5068 novels (were around 24 hours ago, the last @_God checked) and over 70% - 87% are dropped (I am sure of that but I will ask @_God to see how many are actually dropped). What do you expect? The site is turning into a damned wormhole of bullshit. There were some really good original novels that I liked but the authors dropped them since they had their own problems and they weren't getting the exposure they should have.

                                SweetsTomato Royalties. Since they are the authors and they still have some right to their novels, so web novel needs to pay them from the translations as well since that's how it works. Well, that's how it's supposed to work but no one will ever know if that's how it actually works.

                                    What if I paid for SS's, unlocked a bunch of chapters and now they're locked again, after I paid to unlock them.. what then?...

                                          Randomizer Then you need to contact the administrators. WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL, CKtalon, etc and report it to them. Once you give them the photo of your SS spent page, they should unlock the chapters. Many others had this problem.

                                              SweetsTomato They are supposed to pay higher royalties even if they have to pay the translators. But as I said, that's how it's supposed to work but no one will ever know how it actually works.
