It was good at first, then they start to introduce random people offending and 'logic breaking' chapter just for filler.
At first the MC was agreeable and you can relate, but it's going down the plot hole each time.
It's like MC lost his value from his previous life and just become and ordinary citizen of the cultivation world with some cheat.

so much repetition and lack characters development. I Dropped this novel after the mc fought with lu xun, disappointing to the max
I was so frustrated with that arc. Especially when he missed his chances of becoming the most recognized teacher just because of bad timing or MC's ignorance. Haven't read it since.

Tired of reading him assumes more identity, creates troubles for himself, and be ignorant. Like goddamn, look at Lin Fan, although he's also ignorant, at least he doesn't need to create the problem for himself in order for the plot to move forward. I remember how hard it is to read his students battling each other (students of different identities he assumes) for his sake, makes me wanna quit reading because of his ignorance and (brain got numb).
I just binge read this. While it is a mystery to me that this at top spot while Cultivation Chat Group is down below, this is an ok parody novel.
Read first 100-200 chapters and you'll know pretty much how the next story will be written, same stuff with different setting. Now, I'm reading lnmtl by skimming (duh why bother reading 'kick a formation to turn it off' or 'he is 2 star xxx,xxx' for the hundredth time) because I'm curious about the reason why MC got poisoned.

The only devloppement there is thzt he saved some guy's daughter that turned out to have some innate poisonous soul (some kind of talent) that managed to supress an outburst of that innate poison of his.
In brief what happenned in the last hundred chapter :
-Mc is cool and still faceslapping by doing the impossible.
-Mc became 6 star FINALLY.
-The only disciples that are yet to decide on their path are Wang Ying and the fist guy.
-THE THING THAT TURNED ME OFF THE MOST, MC IS SOMEHOW IN LOVE WITH A GIRL THAT HE DEEMS "mysterious" .
Tumeke You know... That's called character development. Not everyone can be perfect, but everyone can learn from their mistakes. That 'bitch daughter' came a long way from how she was at the start. Just like how Anfey changed himself and all the other members. But i guess you are just into brainless stuff like perfect mc with his perfect little pets and perfect little followers going around fking everyone up with their perfection? Yeah i get you, i mean it's your choice i can't really refute your taste...
I don't have anything else to read so I just binge read novels like this. I have too much free time

N0xiety well ok. I'm just saying its not necessarily deserving of having a high ranking. There are definitely better novels than that ranked above and below it. Btw the power rankings is the best example of a popularity contest so you really shouldn't be surprised if an unpopular novel isn't highly ranked. It's weird that you don't see the irony in assuming that because i don't like assassin's chronicle i instantly am a fan if brainless mc stuff.
Edit: in reference to "that's called character development" that's kinda bullshit. I didn't like her cgaracter when i stopped reading around chapter 50 and if she was to change so much that i started to like her, is she really the same character. If anyone readslegend of the dragon king, you would know that elder cai is a massive bitch. Even if they give her development later in an attempt to make reader's empathise with her it would feel forced. Maybe I'm weong for thinking this but first impressions matter. It's not that i hate everything about the daughter character, it's that there are no redeeming qualities to her (imo) so even if they add something later i will most likely be stuck in my ways.

Tumeke Don't worry she didn't change her character completely. She is still wilful and does what she wants, but now she atleast thinks on how her behavior might effect others around her before she acts. So her character didn't really change much, but the way she acts did. Just like real people. It's an improvement but ofc she still ain't a perfect human being. You are not supposed to like every character anyways, she is just another cog in the wheel that makes the world more diverse. In most other novels mc's followers act like robots who follow after every command and lick his ass at every opportunity. It's like they don't even have their own lives. Especially those stupid harem members in general... Tell me if i'm wrong?
N0xiety Yes, you are wrong. I don't like the character, which causes me to dislike the novel. So what if people irl are like that. I choose not to be subjected to the craziness like i choose not to read this novel. In my mind she is not any better than those boot lickers. I don't like both cases and it doesn't make a novel good just because it is diverse in characters, but it can make it a jumbled mess with tons of crossed wires and tonal inconsistencies.
Tumeke Oh? What is your recommendation then? I'm curious since you seem to have quite high expectations. I'm just curious what novel can make you sattisfied. It should also be able to sattisfy me since i also have high expectations, so throw me a bone. I especially require the novels to atleast have common sense and simple logic. Not a fan of exessive usage of plot armor to save the day either. Oh also please spare me the critisizing masses(filler) that talk constant sh*t only to be awed at the end by how awesome mc is... I'm running out of web novels to read currently so?
the more frustrated i am, the more i want to finish the arc so that i can read the future good chapter ... ehem coz i read the spoilers, future chapters are awesome ( sorry for the other people who don't like spoilers, different people have different likes and i like to read spoilers coz chapter updates were slow
i hate this novel, more precisely the author who made the mc so dumb but OP.
i hate the infinite amount of face slap, then boom another face slap, then the author keep telling how amazing that things is in every chapter. then next chapter repeat the same thing, we got it, your mc is freaking amazing. but i continues to read for plot.
no character progression, still dumb and oblivious.
then the golden page appears, it could increase soul depth or something which is ok. but then he effin kills people above his level with the page and i was like what? ok this is quite op.
then the mc goes on rampage for his student, if in most novel is a legit suicide.
he meets an ancestor way above his realm and guess what? plot armor and killed the damn ancestor. why even make realms and the massive difference in power if at the end of the day, you could kill with plot armor. then i drop this novel.
plot armor too much, mc too dumb, but most likely too much rush and stupid reason of mc. mc doesnt know how to chill and goes rampage way too easy.
NineLife hahaha, I guess you fell for the trap. It's not that MC is stupid but compared to others his common sense is way beyond. The plot Armor did make the mc kinda OP but it's in lieu with a majestic tittle Library of Heaven's Path. Heaven's Path is "mysterious" although I agree with the notion that it is a bit too much to use the golden page from the library to kill opponents but it's not like there is a proper way of using the LIBRARY to fight. It's author's way of letting those who believed that library it's just a support tool. Anyhow it's up to imagination and preferences of each reader so I can just say what I feel.
