I usually reread the novels that I find interesting. And 'superstars of tomorrow' is one of my favorites. Last night I was reading it for the third time and when I was going to continue reading it just now, I saw I have to pay ss again???? This is the same case for other novels in my library as well. I don't know if this issue is just with me or it is just a normal thing. Any kind soul who can explain this to me? Or perhaps somebody have already experienced this?? Please, I'm looking for you!!! (Sorry if you can't understand my what I'm saying. My first language is not English)
Paying ss for the chapters I've already read
Qidan, in an attempt to take more money, retroactively locked chapters of completed stories that were under the daily free premium chapter promise they stopped. Only the last batch of unlocked chapters(if you used as) remain unlocked. Anything that was a daily free, even if you had SS unlocked to keep up with releases was relocked. Blame money grubbing penny pinching liers.
Legionnaire_Dusk that's shameless. Qidian really disappointed me. I was looking forward to reread few chapters of my favourite novels and relax a bit after a long day at work. Now what???
Yeah I think the chapters we buy should have a function or something, I don’t want to respend my stones on the same chapter, did they not take to this to account or were just greedy I wonder?

koki1997 Hi! I also reread SoT and this has not happened to me. Daily free chapters stopped unlocking at C227, if I'm not mistaken, and the chapters I unlocked with SS were still unlocked. The relocking of chapters was done on completed novels only so I doubt this is the case with SoT too.
Maybe you should check your Consume History if the acct you're using was really used to unlock those locked chapters? Just in case you use more than one acct. :)
it happened to me too, i'm saving SS and use it to unlocked some chapter but today i've found out the chapter that already opened using SS got locked again. what the hell?! there should be bottom line for shameless
It happen to mee too. They shoukd give us a explaination or i think we should just leave qidian there are many more platform which not loose to qidian at all. If qudian only care about money they will ruined everything they build.

Qidan shame on you. Don't you want to earn money the right way or you actually as some novels and readers saying - Shameless?
As I stated in a previous post, Qidan needs to look at the big picture medium-long term and be more customer reader friendly/oriented rather than Shameless.
I’ve spent a good amount of money on SS, i’ honestly don’t mind spending money on something I like a lot. But having to REbuy chapter is really annoying... especially on books with several hundred chapters that become relocked.
Is this a glitch/bug or is this something permanent?

bachingchung I did as you told but it didn't work? Has your chapters not relocked? If so, did you use free ss to unlock chapters or bought ss?
koki1997 nope, I still have them unlocked. And now I added a new book with free 1k+ chapters. XD are you using google plus? Some people are having problems with g+ not syncing to the app. Perhaps that's the problem why your chapters locked again.

Chapters you've read for "free" or unlocked without ss will be locked again starting from the 100th page for premium novels. Well.. For now. By that I mean in future everything goes premium or they lower the "free to read preview chapters" to ten pages.

I’m just mad chapters I unlocked using ss are locked again. My google+ account syncs fine with the App on iOS. I did use free ss I had saved up. Do chapters only truly unlock when you used paid for ss?
