There are numerous grammatical errors in this chapter although they are not obvious upon casual reading. First, there is the misuse of "ng" vs "nang." The former is usually used only in the same way "of" is used in English, for everything else, the latter is used (this is an oversimplification, of course).
Hyphens are used inconsistently. In this particular sentence, the same word appears both in hyphenated and un-hyphenated: "Kahit na ang [Taming] at ang [Long Distance Vision] ay parehong kapakipakinabang, ay hindi sila
kasing kapaki-pakinabang ng [Hide]."
There are specific rules about when to use hyphens, aka gitling, in Filipino, and the translator must adhere to this.
When borrowing English words and having to use the plural form, one must not use the English plural (the addition of "s" at the end of the word) - simply adding the Filipino "mga" is sufficient.
Care must be taken in spelling/spacing. This word is two separate words: "nangangahulugangmaari."
There were many words that could have been translated instead of borrowing the English terms.
Simply restructuring the sentences can improve the flow so much. So far, it looks like a sentence-by-sentence, word-for-word translation. This is a pretty technical chapter, and care must be taken not to make it sound like a lab/news report.
