    Billdoor you can say that you dont like you a certain genre, but cant say those genres are trash. There are people who wrote them and those who work to translate it. Thinking yourself that you are better to those who wrote those genres.

            Razierre I dont want to widen my booklist to mature and harem content. Cause I dont like harems and I dont like too mature content.

            Mature content usually is another word for erotica.... Harem is usually another word for polygamy! I as a monogamist always found that shiz disgusting and frustrating to watch.

            I'm sure you're might tell me something along the lines of too close minded or that I truly don't understand the genre's but I want you to know 90% of the books out there with those tags are exactly as I described erotica with polygamy....every guys fantasy wrapped nicely in a possible blanket of ancient China. Basically a Hentai with a historical tag on it. That's right! I went there!!

            Now that you understand how I feel about mature and harem content, I don't think you will tell me what I should do regarding them, other than leave them alone.

            I understand many people like the novels that go deep into different sex things 50 shades is a perfect example, it wasn't a harem or anything but basically mature no?

            QI doesn't have much "mature" novels at this time and I like that. I'm not going to stop you from advocating more "genres", but I'm not inclined to agree with the genre being here. There are like 3 novels on qidian I think that have a warning about +18 content and it's only because of the sexual things that go on. I end up never reading those novels. There are many Chinese novels that have harem because that was a significant part of their social status back in ancient times so depending on how bad the particular characters are in the harem I may or may not actually enjoy the novel.

            Also I find it pretty petty of you to think I only read novels on qidian.

              Razierre DOn't you ruin the precious time of translators, in every harem+Mature novel I have ever read, they treat women like Fucktoy(no censorship), And the whole story revolves around getting more girls(clones of them actually) in the same situations and the MC gets stronger so that he can fuck her.(sorry for the crude language)
              I sometimes feel there is something wrong with the translators and the Authors who wrote and think of translating these kind of novels. This scares me to think that people have this kind of adolescent fantasies in their mid 30s. I won't argue about the good harem novels as they are actually good harem novels out there. But the famous argument still stands.

              These authors(their stories) are no different from this novel we can imagine what goes into their mind. And it is not looking good for the society!!

                    even if I totally argue against his viewpoint, I once read the JP novel 'Sevens', this is in my opinion the only one I read where harem is done right. All characters are fleshed out, own characteristics, own goals.

                    But one out of 200 is still pretty bad :D

                          Billdoor Thats why I said that not all of them are bad... and Sevens if I remember the character has somewhat 20harem members with 7 previous grandpa living in his mind, I abandoned it after it started to stretch a bit(picked it at the tim eof somewhat 300chapters).

                              Billdoor Sevens is boring in the beginning though, I read up until he ran away. And the girl who was initially with him(since i didn't read to the part he got the harem) was extremely annoying. Does it really get better? I liked his old grandpa personalities....maybe I will go back....

                                              The novel is great! At least a t the beginning that I read, the prologue was so interesting, hooked me right in, but chapter 1 and 2 was a doosy because the POV was like very weird, we weren't following MC but some other character who was following MC, and you could tell like the author was trying to force us to believe something negative because the character was believing something negative and I hate those types of things but I get where the author was going so I forgave them for that offense.

                                              The MC wasn't overly powerful, though probably overly mysterious that eventually some small thing will be revealed that makes me want to bite my hankie and run for the nearest spoiler. So far nothing like that has happened thank god. I stopped at chapter 22 because my policy is to have 50-75 chapter gap between where I am and the release so yeah. It was also a safe-ish stopping point because they were transitioning to a new potential arc I believe. Read it and prepare to wait, or don't read it and miss out eventually. I added it to mangaupdates list so I will always know it is something i need to go back to.

                                              Plus I don't think peoples on the forums will let me forget as much as they duplicate threads round here.
