So my friend is feeling pretty angsty these past few days and to shove this in their faces, Imma find (shamelessly ask for) novels with Immortal Mcs.

So yeah~
¤Don't care about the genre, but harems aren't allowed and my friend loves anything creepy, so a +1 for gore-y books
¤They can be original or translated, heck, they can even come from other sites. (Pls dont take this Discussion down ;-;)
¤The Mc should be immortal from the start, and not become immortal in the end, like WMW
¤No qualms about evil or good mcs, but hypocritical mcs are a no-no.

    Just based off that little info you gave off, I'm going to assume the worst that could happen because I don't know anything else about you or your friend, and will recommend you to jolt down this number, the national suicide prevention lifeline (800-273-8255). I hope that's not the case, and that you both were joking around only.

    Some common signs to look out for includes, but isn't limited to:

    • him talking about death/plans after death when it's not something they would normally talk about.
    • Looking like he has let go of his burdens. It no longer bothers him and he looks like he's suddenly calm. Things that use to bother him doesn't anymore, like he changed overnight.
    • In addition, he may probably not attach a value to his life, so he may be engaging in more reckless activities (i.e. drinking more, possibly drinking and driving, engage in unsafe sex, etc)
    • Him giving away things that he used to cherish highly and/or never let anyone touch, aka "finding a home for them since he won't be able to any more".
    • isolation/withdrawal -- could potentially be a symptom of depression
    • sleep problem/excessive mood swings.
    • Being hopeless about the future.
    • uncharacteristically cheerful. The candle burns the brightest just before it dies. "Hoe Gwang Ban Jo".

    Now, I sincerely hope it's not due to suicidal tendencies (and just him vetting out who his friends are). As a fellow human being, if he IS contemplating suicide, please help, whether he's your friend or whether he killed your dog.

    Now, I don't have any immortal MC novels, but I do have a book about an Immortal. Previously, as a Hero, he repelled away the evil who threatened to rule the world, and in its place, became the new evil tyrant—and god. He ruled over the kingdom with a heavy hand and our MC, female, tries to topple over his harsh reign: Mistborn: The Final Empire.

    Would that work? Or are you dead set on the Immortal MC?

      Ooh, and I remember about a manga, with an immortal vampire king searching for his sealed-away queen: Vampire Juujikai (aka The Record of a Fallen Vampire on bakaupdates).

      Both my novels have characters that can live forever but can die. So not sure if you mean true immortal where nothing will kill them, or immortal in the sense that they won't die from old age.

        Yeah, don't worry about my friend, she's just doing her own thing and is jealous of her sister. I'm pretty sure it's a phase, don't worry about it, she's mostly done with it but has these moments where she suddenly says things like, "I hate my family. They don't care about me," or "No one cares about me."
        Thanks for the recommendation btw, I don't particularly mind, as I'm only gonna read a few recommended here (By way of closing my eyes and randomly pointing) but not sure with my friend. The manga I have read, and my friend in dead set of Danmei (;-;). But I'm taking a vacation here in the Philippines and the storm is showing its might outside my window, so I might take a few days to read.

        I've read Macha's journey and been seeing it a lot, but since my friend doesn't read on this site, Imma recommend it (hehe) to her.
        As stated above (twice) it will take a dew days at most due to the storm. (I'm starting to despise this friend now that she recommended me to vhave my vacation here when a storm shows up ;-;)
