YouKnowWhat Well, even if we wait i don't think the translator is going to change what he has censored so far. There has been no changes to the earlier chapters, so for consistency sake i'm guessing the translator will continue the censor he has done so far. It's really annoying, but i can deal with it if no 'new' censor is done to the novel. I use an app to auto correct words that the translator censored from before.

Honestly, this novel was in my pending list before this. But now that I've read about all the shenanigans the translator has been up to, I've decided to drop it and express my extreme confusion as a fellow translator (of another novel not on qidian) If you want to censor it/find it offensive, why the hell did you read it/pick this up in the first place? its like finding something repulsive but still using it because, what? I honestly can't comprehend? Cutting out bits of text because you cant bring the meaning across and rephrasing it, no issues. Cutting out bits of text because it's irrelevant and you can't translate it. I can tolerate. Cutting out half of the fucking chapter just because? wtf? you're undermining the author's efforts and it's really reaaaaaally rude. TY to N0xiety for creating this thread and telling people about it

1) The novel was originally posted/uploaded in China which has a pretty strong censorship so anything that isn't supposed to be up there wouldn't be up there
2) AKA The novel was already censored upon release or you wouldn't see it
which brings us to 3) where the translator censored it after it has already been censored, which is super redundant and pointless so it leads to 4) on how the translator is either pointlessly cautious, super racist or any other reason mentioned above that's not listed.
So there will be no ifs. I stick by my stand. You're too sensitive. N0xiety has done nothing wrong other than be enthusiastic in trying to refute your statement and being indignant
