I'm really lazy as all f*ck, and writing reading watching shows are all I really want to do for the rest of my life. Are there people who'd pay me just to read and watch? Doubt it, so writing it is if I don't want to starve. The good news is, happy chemicals pump out whenever I'm writing, so even if it's technically work, I'm fooled into thinking I'm happy
Why do you write?
Because I can't help it... I just have to. The stories in my head don't ever stop.
I've spent a lot of years as a gaming DM, and I got really tired of crafting elaborate worlds and NPCs just to have the campaign end without any of them ever seeing the light of day.
I wished there was some way I could just run a D&D campaign where I was both the DM of the world and played all the characters at the same time.
It took me way too long to realize that most people call that "writing a book".
So now I write books.
lazyredragon number one, i want to accomplish something while i'm young so i'd be something like a young achiever. since i'm not good at any physical activities and i can't compare to millions of fellow math wizards my age, i tried writing. number two, i want to know my skill level. number three, in the future, i want to do a compare and contrast.
Because I have a lot of ideas in my head and just jotting down some quick notes isn't going to help. It's something to do that I like and can eventually (hopefully) blossom into a decently paying career.
lazyredragon it's a good past time after all
lazyredragon it is really fun... To women like me the novels are great.
Because I really enjoy reading and want to give people the same thing.
I don't want a career, I want to write something I am happy with because I enjoy reading and writing.

I write for several reasons, primarily because I have the ability to make another person's day or week just a little bit better.
Secondly I do it to express myself.
There are a few other minor reasons but they aren't too important.
Clowniac D&D?
EldridSmith Dungeons and Dragons, or D&D for short.
Clowniac I know, I play it :)
because I want to help people in their healing process....or at least, that's what I am aiming for.
Because I often spend most of my times day dreaming. So, why don't I put these “dreams” into my novel?
It helped me to escape from P2W games, improved my vocabulary and the way I express myself.
In addition for a small chance of getting paid out of our your hobby which is pretty amazing to be true.
Last but not the least, because I want to share my ideas and stories with other people.. helped them in their boring or tough times
I always read books, appreciated each one I read. I thought it was easy to write, but it was not as easy as our imagination. I started to write a few days ago and I believe, it was one of the best things I have ever done. It was difficult at first but I do post a chapter daily here. It is indeed a pleasure to see your imagination in words and people appreciating it.
