So I had a story in my mind since a long time.
I see a lot of novels with a male MC with a harm and a lot of female wives.
So hey what about a female MC with a lot of hot husbands?
I don't know if anyone would like the idea but I personally am a big fan of reverse harem. And I have been searching webnovel for a while and couldn't find one like this. Basically MC won't be a slut but with a fixed number of husbands and will be faithful to them.
So does the idea attract anyone? Or is it only me?

Author_Shizu I would like to read this but unfortunately, I see very little story like this. It's probably because society still has double standards for for women. If I guy has a lot of girlfriends and or wives...he's a "player" but if a girl has a lot of boyfriends and or husbands...she's not viewed in the best of light. There are few of these reverse harem novels on NU but they they are not complete and or have very low ratings.
As, a male I do not like like harems, I do not think many females enjoy that idea as well.
Also remember in most words males have a higher status than women, why would a man be attracted to a woman of lower status.
This is not a good thing, but that is the truth.
I have read Harems, before but that is because the novels has other things that appeal to me.
If, this is the core point of your novel. I do not see it being a hit.
There are reverse harem novels...but i dont like any harem novel...reverse or not. i mean, many ML options are good...but its too confusing for my brain. i think, ML sud be one but many flirting side characters...why not!
lol, i do like it when mc is hilariously flirting with both males and females, and creating a big harem...but got the ML completely miffed.
While I like the idea, the few times I tried novel with consumed reverse harem I was left with mixed feelings. It is fundamentally harder to pull off than traditional harem. Girls are more demanding toward the characters, story progression and the MC. The MC is actually the hardest part since the heroine needs to be somewhat relatable which is a bit hard when she goes around and picks flowers for her harem - no one want to identify with a slut after all.
If you think that your idea is good give it a try. Rather than asking for opinion on reverse harem you should give us a sample or story overview with the general idea so we could give you a proper feedback

Have you seen the anime diabolik lovers?
I didn't like the shitty abuse in it but it was quite famous due to its reverse harem theme. So I was thinking of something similar with vampire theme.
Reverse-Harem with plantonic relationships. You should make it. ; )
There was a book I read a long time ago that had some of this genre. Think it was written by Anne Rice, maybe Queen of the Damned or something.
Think it could work! Coz in some books, vampires are able to easily seduce mortals and wrap them around their little fingers. 
Not sure if it would appeal to the male readers though...
Author_Shizu yes, I have heard of Diabolic Lovers - mostly bad things. Well, the fans of the original VN are very eager to get it localized in English so maybe just the anime is a flop. But DL is otome - you have many love options but by the end of the story you choose only one. while there may be some semi harem ending in the Visual Novel, the nature of the medium is still straight. Of course if you are simply using the setting for inspiration that’s fine, but as an example of a real reverse harem where FL has multiple male lovers at the same time that is not the best example.
I Reincarnated into an Otome Game as a Villainess With Only Destruction Flags… Is pretty famous for its harem ending with FL.
The Captivating Crown Prince, The Corpse Ruler Confuses the World, All Seven Husbands Are Devils, The End Of The World’s Poisonous Mom And Monster Baby are examples with consumed reverse harems.
Acutelittletrap, that is not right. There is demand for that genre. It is just extremely hard to find something that resonates with the reader and there are few famous examples.

in story just need to careful with world building, maybe like women are in the power or men lost fight with women.
this is unique kind of novel so there will be male-fan base too.
Merry Gentry series of Laurell K. Hamilton is also a reverse harem novel.

Either a Vampire reverse harem. That would be serious romance.
Or a "reincarnation in a cultivation reverse-harem novel" type. Because in this way I could make it seem reasonable. As in normal society its hard to find an explanation for reverse harem.
And hell, I can think of thousand humorous moments for a modern-age protagonist struck in a reverse harem novel with many husbands!

Author_Shizu I heard and tried to watch this anime but as an older woman living in the modern world, I could not quite agree to how the female character was treated. I like reverse harem like Ouran Host Club because there seems to be respect and genuine affection for the female but for the female character in DL I can't say that she was treated with much respect and or affection...but that could have changed as I did not watch the anime completely.
Also, as I am writing this, I'm thinking maybe that treatment/behavior toward the female character in DL is a subculture that is somewhat trending now?
Maybe my views are too conventional? I would hate to think that I'm trying to impose my limited views onto other people.
If you want to write, write what you want to write...afterward, you can always edit and re-write...right?
BTW, I think that it's great that you want to write, and that you are willing to explore a genre that is not too popular!

Harem novels were never really easy to make and most of the ones available are just... well, it’s difficult to write harem novel, regardless if it’s geared towards men or women and despite the huge popularity for it, I don’t know about how large the target audience for the reverse harem trope is. People usually write what they see as popular for the masses. That is the reason we keep finding replicated story concepts with the same repititve tropes . 
There is a novel called Fortunate Wife (which surprisingly so has a webtoon released now in Webnovel) . There’s also a Ployandry tag on Novel-Updates but without a large selection. I’m definitely planning on targeting this idea but I got a few other novel storylines to go through first . ~.~
