Ratio to date = 538:1

I think my contracted story has done its dash and died a slow death. The poor Sunflower has dried up with interest  Regardless, I'll have to finish by April to satisfy my own catalogue plans.

Kind of was expecting Sunflower to have a modest run, so it's cool.

It's had some cool readers who've supported its journey. That's my biggest win on this contract author stint. Sunflower readers have been awesome. Yep. You heard me. We have some excellent reader peeps here. Big up respect for all their comments and encouragement. I'd feel this contract experience would be a failure if I didn't receive the reader support it has received. Fingers crossed. I've never had reason to delete one review since everyone has been kind and constructive with feedback. Feeling blessed to be honest. And I hope I don't jinx myself. 😖

Veronica8 Cool thread. I'll give it a go, although my statistical maths is terrible.

Zaldizko has 12.1K views to 9 collections.
So ratio is 1344:1?
It's pretty small-time since it has only been live for a month. I'm open for some readers

To My Sunflower has 6919 views to 25 collections. Only been live since writing prompt #46 two weeks back. Again open for some readers
Ratio is 276:1?

I honestly don't know if these numbers are a good indication for this site or not. Probably not since it doesn't really generate too much activity. I can't complain since I've only been here a month. If Anything, the views are telling me my cover and blurb are drawing in the interest at least. I hope.

Update on my book Rekka's Last Stand from a month ago!

It now has 39k views and 25 collections, so 1,560:1 compared to 150:1 from when I first started out.

Currently, my novel for the 104 WC has a ratio of 10.7k:14, or 764:1.
tbh, not sure if that's good or bad. I rarely check the ratios lol.

Went from a 1:400 to an almost 1:2000 Did nuffing, just continued the story ;__;

Update on OP Paladin and the new novel OP Dungeon:

OP Paladin [193] (130k Views/672 Collections)
OP Dungeon[140] (41.5k Views/296 Collections)

They are both new so it should be interesting to see if they manage to stay below 1:200 or not.

My Attack Stat is Negligible.... (219K Views/332 Collections) - 660:1

I didn't contract it and never bothered to promote. Writing it for fun and for people that like weird JP light novels so ¯\(ツ)/¯ .

I have just reached 1 million views on my main novel.

shoots confetti cannon

For some magical reason my slow AF slice of life has reached a million. Current stats are 1million/1686 soooo like 595:1

    To My Sunflower - 539:1

Not expecting much more readership with my story. Happy to write it off.

Although, this story is aligned to what we're experiencing with corov. I guess the hardships and having to be restricted on rations.

    Heh!

Short story 31:1. Well, only one chapter, so basically no views. 2183 and 70 collections. But, hey, still looks good with that ratio :D

Main story trudges on at 1031:1. That's pretty awful I guess. Still, it's the one with over 1M views.

One finished story at an epic 19333:1. I have high hopes of seeing it break 20K views per collection ;)

Hyowha mine is 1:481 I don't know if this is good or bad :D

Well, I've got ~ 1:150 on LFPW, so it's not too bad, but at the same time it's a new novel and has only 15k views, so I imagine it will go down a lot in the future...

      Collection: 16,210

      Ratio = 149.29

Still have a long way to go.

I don't get how it is possible. You still have regularly new reviews and some power stones. 143 power stones shouldn't get you a ranking so low.

Even the worst stories should have a few collections each days if the visibility is good enough.

        Kotario

Ugh.. I'm seriously lacking collections. 751 for about 200k views. Let's see with the featuring next week if it gets better.

Arkinslize The truth is that I am an awful author, and most readers drop the story after voting for it because of disappointment or they realize my story is utter rubbish. Also, many of the reviews are negative, so...

And the top stories all have thousands of power stones, so I am nothing compared to them.

I mean, some readers never remove webnovels from their library, whether they liked it or not.

If you repeat to every reader of yours how awful you and your story are, it's like unpromoting yourself.

Whatever you write, you should at the very least be your first fan and defend the good points of your novel. Writing 890k words needs some real commitment as bad as you think it is. Some great authors can't do as much.

Remove all your negatives author notes and fix what should really be fixed, or start anew. But 5 collections with 2M views, there's definitely an issue.

            Just my opinion.
