  • Is it rude to point out translation errors?

Translator is working very hard to produce these chapters steadily.

Is it rude to point out errors?
Does anyone care?

    I personally don't mind it at all. Actually, I would thank you for pointing out the errors so i could fix them asap. :D

    neropia just point it out, most translator would gladly discuss with you if you can provide reasonable point.

      neropia No. When you buy a product & find a defect in it, you take it up with the customer care. It's the same here. I mean, these sites are all registered companies now.

        Most translators are happy to have errors pointed out as long as your not an ass about it.

        Its fine, but some of them get pissed off you mention their poor choice in translating certain terms, like if ask them to use Nascent Soul over Yuanying or if you say some names aren't great in english, for example Mad Tyrant, Big Bear, or etc is fine is english, but something like Purple Clouds Descending Mountain or Misty Rain of Jianghu..... Just leave that shit in the original language, unless Misty Rain of Jianghu is a location and not some weird VR characters name, then its fine in english.
