I just tried this new Webnovel beta on Android. It doesn't change much beside the task(s) that gives you more chance to claim rewards (be it SS or exp).
This is my review of the app up to now:
- All in all, the beta version is good enough. It didn't affect my daily reading on webnovel.
- New good point: the daily tasks is and rewards is more varied. The navigation of the app is easier.
Done. Maybe I will update this later after I try the app for about a week.

I think this Elite cost is set a little too high for all except the most hardcore of readers. Amazon Prime is only 9.92 per month. Hulu is 5.99. Crunchyroll and Hidive are 4.99. Even Netflix Premium is only 15.99. Kindle Unlimited is only 9.99 a month as another reading service.
Pizz you mean is the version of android that i use? my brother also have same problem with the newest qidian update (he use zenphone 3 max) by logic it should work since the os on those phone is using 8.1 version

WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL hey, really like the update but there's one thing I'm sad with. It seems although the new update increases chances of gaining ss, the chance to gain exp is reduced. What used to be 10 exp became 5 exp. SS is great but I'd like to increase levels fast too. So, can you consider keeping the exp reward same or creating more opportunities to gain exp? I'd be really grateful :).

LukaGremory yeah i did, but if hes having the same problem then maybe its a permissions problem p.s. I'd never bluestacks it's never worked a 100% on apps I can name a load that just don't work on it
i'd use a real VM android test rig as you can play with cores and ram etc
edit: on the VM rig you can also change the video ram as well as the system, I forgot to say that bit

The bar on the right that shows how far through the chapter you are is now visible in day mode. It used to be only visible when in night mode as it's white colour did not adjust. Now it is the opposite, haha. The bar is dark and isn't viewable in night mode.

Brand new task system
I know that this task system was already in the previous version - the DAILY ones anyway. I'm guessing it was made to be more apparent/visible to users and easier to find. The UPGRADE rewards; I've seen similar being done to other comic/reading apps so it works as it is. The READING missions on the other hand, I'm not sure how I feel. We only get enough free SS for around 3-5 locked chapters, so that wouldn't really take 30 mins a day. Since it's a weekly, I probably would only get 60 mins maximum in a week.
- Bummed out about the ads only being 5SS now instead of random <cries>
Edit: Bullet point below fixed but with dead link - Don't have the "Earn Rewards" button on the library as mentioned above: "You can find the task in the below right corner of library page OR the 'earn rewards' function in the Profile page." and as seen in the example screenshot above

Again, this is already implemented. To be honest, I turn it off since it's very distracting to read comics and have words covering it. I'd rather just have a normal comment section like in the novels.

- Task system and ways to earn free SS and exp has been made clear for everyone
- Earn Rewards button on library missing edit: fixed but dead link
- Elite membership: do it if you have money!
- Bulletags: just have a normal comments section
- Minor design touch ups (probably dependent on phone and OS version)
- Please fix notifications
