Soooooo what’s happening with it? I know Snail has a tendency to abandon projects, but I’ve also heard something about he has to wait till the manga?/anime? Have to catch up first? Anyone know what’s going on? It was the series that made me discover/get into Wuxia/Xianxa that being said GO WW!

He basically invested in his own comic and animation studio, which develops his novels' IP. Therefore, he is putting in all his effort into the studio instead of writing. He has promised on his Weibo (Twitter equivalent) that the novel will be updated when the comic catches up, but there was more than a year ago. At least, he is quite consistent with 1 chapter/month for now. (It has nothing to do with a contract).
