Writing Prompts Contest #53：Emperor

The word emperor typically represents power and authority. A proper emperor's responsibilities include leading the army, protecting the citizens, creating laws, and defeating enemies.

1）Historical novels
Emperors most commonly appear in historical novels. Perhaps the main character is a person from the modern day who transmigrated to the past. He can then use modern technology and theories to revolutionize primitive religion and archaic systems. He could bring about an industrial revolution and improve the daily lives of his citizens. Remember, every time you write about a modern technology or concept being used in the worse living conditions of the past will be enjoyable for the readers.

2) Politics and schemes
Just like the famous novel Song of Ice and Fire, the king and high-ranked nobles will always plot and scheme against each other for the sake of obtaining authority. The battle of wits between the emperor, his nobles, retainers, and enemies is also something worth writing about.

Writing Prompts Contest #54：Counterattack

Waiting for a prince on a white horse to come and save you is usually nothing more than a dangerous daydream. Waiting for someone else to help you realize your dream is actually the equivalent of abandoning your own dream.

3.The contest will take place from Feb 4, 2018 to Feb 10, 2018 (GMT +8).
4.The story must not contain any racial or religious discrimination against any other cultures or their lifestyles.
5.Only newly-created original novels shall be allowed to enter the contest.
6.Webnovel reserves the right of final interpretation for all stories submitted in this contest.

I know it's probably not what was expected, but it's a story about a man in a world with superheroes who finds himself disillusioned with heroes and their greed. As a result, he takes up a mantle as a new kind of supervillain and decides to initiate a "counterattack" against all the heroes.
