I kind of know there are difficulties to do the translation as sometimes, a short sentences in English becomes longer in Tagalog because of the words or have to use more words during translation. I still do buy pocketbooks if interesting one, because my nieces and cousin in-laws love to read after I finished reading them... They love to read Tagalog pocketbooks but I avoid to introduce the webnovel because there are novels that not good for the teens like for my nieces are 13-16yo. And chapters not all free though... Lol

Elise_Elleneth XD maybe, the translator uses automatic translation or he can't find words to fit the English words. XD You know, I do like the old translated stories > but words usage are too archaic and jargon. Most I find are broken and some are constructed words. I do noticed this in my first language. If you're reading newspapers you find those difficult words in crossword puzzles. Oh I do love reading novel story(tagalog or bisaya) in the newspapers too. XD The flow of their words is good. @-@ I haven't buy books nowadays for a certain reason.
