just make 7 accounts of your own and counter vote if it bothers you so much. Webnovel cannot do anything about it, nor will they.
A Troll Spamming Reviews has 7 Accounts Already! Do something!
Peaches They can since it's a breach of their own ToS. If they will is another question.

Padoru_Saber Padoru, this is really a difficult issue to control. Even if they deleted all his accounts, it will make no difference, he will just continue to create accounts. Sure they could ban his IP address, but for any tech-savvy person changing or hiding your IP address is very easy.
The only way one could limit this would have everyone accounts tied to their mobile phone number, and they would have received something like an OTP access when they first logged in - and even that has many ways to get around it, and that would prevent many people from creating accounts on WN as a lot of people don't like sharing their personal information.
The reviews are faulty on WN. The weighted averages are off, and an account shouldn't be allowed to post more than one review, but even if WN limited reviews to 1 per account it still wouldn't sort out someone like this dude who seems to take some sort of sick pleasure in dishing new author's work.
Authors need to keep on an eye on their reviews and when this dude lashes out at their books, report his reviews. I have noticed WN is really quick to respond and delete those awful comments.
As for the rest of us on WN, we can do our small part as well, if any of us run across these comments - take a couple of seconds to report it.
Once he notices that no matter how many times he leaves these crude and senseless reviews - that they are deleted - he will grow bored and move on.
profiterole so by your logic, you are ok with kind of problem?

the review system biggest flaw nomatter what is fraud votes and is part of any voteing system out there sadly there is no proper protection against fraudulent abuse.
and yes this ocurs in any voting systems there is you can at best be only 99% sure and even then there is a chance of abuse. for this reason any vote are to be taken with a grain of salt.
since its either conviencecy vs practicality.
to convient and it becomes a abusiv riddled troll hub
to inpractial and no one will use it.
if someone finds a solution to those over 1000 years old problam go ahead.

StenDuring Sure they can remove those accounts/reviews, but the person can just create new accounts to do much the same, is what i mean. There's not a whole lot webnovel can do about such behavior as far as prevention is concerned.

something that can complement votes is constructiv critisicem. that can tell one how to improve. any critiscem that has no explaination of how to improv is also bad.
and even then, its also depended on circumstances, since not all advice is good advice.
They could also connect their brains to the system they run and disable anyone below level three from writing reviews.
By the looks of it you got his initial negative comment deleted and he didn't like it. Looks like you angered the wrong dude
Tbh not much can be done, and you creating these threads just feeds his ego more and he probably ends up spamming more as well.
Just cut your losses, next time be more vigilant: internet is pretty dark place and is by no means some kind of a safe space for you, or anyone rather. Best way to deal with those people is to ignore them- trust me on this.
Padoru_Saber
Just look at forum, people are shameless enough to swap review each other. You rant when people do negative but turn blind eye for those stuff ?
profiterole Honestly wish they would since it makes it hard to find good things to read when the reviews are so out of wak ! ! Like some original works just should not have 4-5* my dude smh.

profiterole but those reviews are mostly constructive and they have at least read 5 chapters.
They talk about the story, characters and the world, but also analyze the flaws, which is VERY different from the troll 1* reviews.
I understand where you are coming from and it may seem hypocrtical, wihch to be fair it is, but the damage a 1 star review leaves is arguably higher than that of a 5 star, which is what we came here to discuss.
Don't shift around the topic and point fingers at others to avoid the initial problem please.
