2.) Does the story have to revolve around Chinese culture?

The contests are held pretty frequently. They run for two weeks, and the next one starts almost immediately after. Each contest has two prompts to choose from, and for a story submission qualify, it has to have at least 10k words. It also has to be a new story and not a previously uploaded on Webnovel. (However, if it has less than 20k words, apparently it can still be entered I heard.)
The stories do not have to revolve around Chinese culture.
I wouldn't say it's neither hard nor easy. Compared to other writing platforms, you get a decent amount of views after first uploading. If you can update daily too, then getting more views and collection (which are followers of a story), is easier.
