for testing the inkstone:
is it just me or not sure it is a bug. After updated by using this apk, every time I tap on an inkstone and it will kick me out.
Already sign out > sign in and restart again, still got same problem.

1. In inkstone section, it doesnt show the votes, views or collections. It only shows ---
2. Also, if i try to enter in a book, the app will crush instantly.
3. Please also add a true dark mode in the app
   One another thing: i was unable to enter the beta program due to it being full, so i used the apk, but i dont think that this is the cause of the problem

[Library Page]
Now there’s a minute tracker at the very top of the library page, makes it easier for readers to see how long they’ve already read. U-U At least I don’t need to switch back and forth between my library page and my earn rewards page.
I’ve also noticed the spacings between each book widen yet again lol. Gonna take some time to get use to it...

[Inside the book’s toolbar function]
I like the new toolbar functions but yet again, I have to take some time to adapt to the new user interface. The transition and time it takes for the toolbar is smooth and fast.
I will review the General part then the Display part.

[Voting for the book icon]
Usually, you can only vote the book by either at the main library page or when you read till the end of the chapter. But this time you can directly vote through the toolbar…easier access I suppose. (Though I personally vote directly from the library page.)

[Audio]
Well…I usually do read over audios. The audio’s voice feels very dead and flat. You can adjust the playback speed to the speed you prefer, adjust the pitch to be either low or high and there’s also a sleep timer.
So, if you’re ever afraid you’ll sleep due to the bland and flat voice of the audio, then set your sleep timer! :D

[Night/Dark Mode]
Previously, many people complain about this mode due to the font being unreadable (too grey or background’s darkness is way too dark for liking). Seems like they fixed it this time, it isn’t too dark nor is it unreadable like before. Plus you can really feel the difference switching in and out of the Night Mode. (My eyes hurt Q.Q)

[Content Page]
Nothing much to say except for the fact it’s easier to see if the lock chapter is really locked or unlock.

[Downloading the Novel Chapters]
When I tried to download a book, it will show which percentage is it at now (E.g. 20%). But when I exit the book and re-enter to check the download percentage, it doesn’t appear. Instead, you can only check the progress which is the moving blue bar). Other than that, there isn’t any more problems.

[Viewing the Comments]
This page takes a very long time to load just to view the comments. It will just load forever and ever and not even load the page. (Unless I exit and try again). This time, they seem to show the exact (or approx.) number of comments in a certain chapter instead of 99+. But this isn’t what we really want…
One suggestion I’ve been asking for a long time: Please let us edit our comments instead of only replying or deleting it! Q_Q

[Display]
Yeet. My favourite part! Changing the background colour! Been waiting for it~ No complains for this one. Can also switch to night mode through the Displays.
There’re more reading fonts. Yay~

[Brightness]
So this time you can use either your phone’s brightness or the app’s own brightness setting. Works perfectly fine. Just that, while it (sometimes) adjust to my phone’s brightness, when I exit the book, the brightness changes in the library page.

[Reading mode]
In case you guys can’t find it…it’s right below the Display tab.

[Suggestion for Display or the General Tabs]
So, I’ve noticed the voting icon right on the General tab. Then what about the gifting icon? Since the voting icon, rating & gifting icon is still at the end of the chapter, then why include the voting icon in the toolbar? Why not just squeeze everything in there? XD I rather replace the voting icon with the gifting icon in the toolbar.

(I think majority voted for the books directly in the library main page instead of the book itself.)

[Brightness for Comics]
I see no point for this function when you can just adjust it using your own phone’s brightness :P

[Novel Review new Function]
Maybe I am blind or just totally clueless but…I do not see a ‘pin’ button. Is this feature only available for original authors? Would make sense if it is.

[Bugs]
Sometimes when reading, the screen will flash black then white then finally, forcefully exit back to the library page. App freezes sometimes too while using.

[Some Suggestions]
Perhaps add in a new tab in the "Earn Rewards" list, a tracker for people to see how many friends they have already invited and they can claim the rewards easier through there? So a tracker like the "Reading Time" where a certain mark is hit/reached, rewards will be given out.

[Overall]
I like/enjoy the new functions (especially the color background) and the improvement of the Night Mode... I don't use Inkstone so no reviews on that section.

Comment first seems to not load, loading comments section from view all does, but if I want to comment first currently it doesn't work.

I'm in United States. This is happening on mobile data.

This isn't really a bug just some feedback.

I dont really like the permanent fire a bullet box at the bottom of comics. It's really useful when you want to fire off a bullet or 3 but I usually scroll from the bottom up since for comics you scroll throught them quickly it's easier to use bottom to top movement on phone. It be nice if there was a toggle for the box in the user interface like a littlecheck box or button that let you turn the fire bullet box on and off. (I'm not talking about reading the bullets I mean the box that let's you type one in.)

Not everyone wants to chat and if they turn off the scrolling bullets across the image they (users) probably won't want to fire one if they can't even be bothered reading them.

That's all just wanted to say it's useful when you want it but annoying when you don't. If you could make that transparent box a toggle on and off option it would be nice.

Maybe you could enable the box when you choose to see the bullets and disable the box when you choose not to see them?

BUG: Redeem code input

There is repetition of the previously typed character whenever the next character is type.
Though I'm not good displaying screenshot, this bug is better seen in video than screenshot. So I'm justifying it with this example.

Code: YWAA BTMC JLSD AMUG

1. Input 'Y' then it shows Y
2. Next, input 'W' shows YW.. so the YW you typed would show YYW. 2 input: 3 output
3. 'A' shows YWA aside fr the previous output, so the current output = YYWY WA.
4. A = YWAA; current output = YYWY WAYW AA
5. B = YWAAB; current output = YYWY WAYW AAYW AAB
6. T = Y; bec the 16-character is reached it, its repitition also stops.

It seldomly shows the input per se, aside fr the first character code. It's a wow to type 3 out of 10 without showing extra characters. Even backspace/delete would do repitition often times instead of removing the character.

Feedback

• Scrolling the content is responding excellently (finally fixed now) from the time I reported it twice; Palaso and Palaso. I thought maybe it's just my phone that's lagging back then so I no longer report it in the succeeding beta.
• Display is great.
• Content creator clearly shows the translator and/or editor, it is great help to easily know them.

As you can see in the image below: In the beta (right screenshot), there's a weird gray bar across the top where the status bar would normally go and there's some significant reading real estate lost once I updated to the beta. Is there any way to fix these two issues? Because otherwise I really love this update.

The webcomic view works fine though, properly adjusts the view to the top of the screen (under the status bar area in immersive mode):

1.Every time I try to change font size, I have to double tap for it to change.

EDIT: 2.Under General tab, right above the meter for the progress of the book, there's the chapter title but it doesn't change accordingly when I've already scrolled to the next chapter. Also there's a . right before the title, not sure if it's a typo or it was on purpose.

And just a typo error but under General tab, there's 'Recommand the book', it should be 'Recommend'.
