Landscape now missing from public version as far as I can tell...

and I've lost about 8-10% of my screen when reading bookings. (not to mention the clock/battery indicator)

I'm not getting any SS from the rewards section, except for daily checking and for watching a video everything else isn't working. it says I get it but I dont, when I check the balance page and history page afterwards its not there even when I refresh the page

    I noticed another thing. I've been setting the brightness to manual the reason is the brightness setting is kind of buggy and doesn't actively keep up with the cellphone system auto brightness but that's not what I want to talk about.

    Let me put the scenario in place.

    You are reading in the dark but the application is still kind od bright, so you un check follow cellphone brightness and manually set the brightness low in the android Webnovels application display settings while reading a webnovel.
    You go to sleep and next day your out and about and you want to read a comic. You open the comic and the screen turns super dim and you almost can't see the comic. So you click on the screen to open up the in comic menu so you can change the display settings. Only wait, the display settings don't show up when reading a comic like they show up when reading the novel.

    So now your stuck with ultra dum light, the application is on manual brightness not automatically follow cellphone system brightness.

    Now you need to exit the comic, open a novel, go to display settings, change the settings to follow system or raise the brightness manualy, then exit the novel and then you open the comic and the brightness is back.

    That's very tedious and annoying, comics should also have the display option like novels do. Being able to raise and lower brightness is important not in just novels but in comics as well.

      The auto light system isn't really working. It just takes the phones light, but if the phone light change automatically the auto light stand still

        [Some Suggestions]
        The current icon for the reward function is really colourful and sometimes shakes a bit. At first, it was nice since the movement reminded someone to get their rewards but with the time it can easily distract someone. I would recommend designing this icon in a similar style like the other icons. For example in only two Colours (white, blue) and in a line style.
        Also, I noticed on the explore page in the novel section the new recommendations. What I would suggest that it would be similar to the first section of the Recommended page. What I mean is that it would be nice if the books would switch in time interval since the miniature icons are really tiny and not many people will click on the next novel to look at it.

          1.When choosing font size the 1st size picked has no effect but the 2nd picked size is acting like the 1st picked.

          Alec_peralta only contracted books can receive gifts. Uncontracted or new translated books cant be supported with a gift.

              I see a more improve version of the app I'm still getting use to it, but I can't seem to find the council of bookworms.

                Daoist54354343 aparently, they are rewriting the entire layout code to change the design of the app, and they haven't yet finished.

                    Hope they bring back the completely black option for display. The grey isn't good enough for me, and now I don't even want to read on Webnovel. All other display options hurt my eyes and I can't focus on the actual words. Still have no idea why they got rid of it in the first place.

                      Uhm, is it your intention to remove the 'delete' funtion in our comments? Please bring back the delete function since it's pretty useful if ever we have second thoughts on what we first posted. I couldn't just 'report abuse' myself to remove my post could I?

                      Edit: So I checked my post in the comment section again and luckily the delete icon was back. Don't know whether that was a bug or not but it went back to normal.

                        I did notice that the black screen in the new version is more of a gray than black I liked the older one too....it was very useful to read at night without disturbing my roommate.
                        And the next problem was with the screen brightness issue.I was not able to increase the screen brightness while I was reading I had to go out of the app to increase the screen brightness and then open the app again...

                        It's not a bug but the beta version is less user friendly I would say. For instance, I usually check the number of chapters through the content page at the top right hand corner of the chapter and may decide to pick and choose the chapters I read. However, now, I have to always repeatedly open the settings option to just see the whole content page to skip to the next few chapters.

                        Also, this is not a bug per se but can anyone tell me how to un-download a book? I accidentally clicked on download twice and I have no way of reverting it at all.

                          WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL the night mode is okay, but the light mode is way too bright (only when I open a book, and not on the library). It cannot be adjusted In app and brighter than normal brightness on my phone. Please make the brightness for light mode like the previous one

                                  WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL I would like to know whats the book about even when I'm not near wifi and download the book. Also why I can't vote for the comic books i like?

                                      Change back how you could scroll chapters. I sometimes press the middle of the screen which brings up the chapter scroll and it'll change to a random chapter if you accidentally hit the bar.
                                      Very annoying and inconvenient.
                                      Honestly don't want SS for this feedback would rather this get changed back.

                                      WEBNOVEL_OFFICIAL I really don't like how the chapter settings are being displayed half to 3/4th of a page on the android. PLEASE FIX IT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL HALF A THUMB LENGTH FOR CHAPTER DISPLAY SETTINGS WHEN READING.

                                              Does not matter if reloaded, refreshed or restarted.

                                                did a clean phone swap from my s7 to s8 after backing up then doing a transfer of apps and data etc ... the apps worked ok, but I suddenly found 6-7 old novels back in my library that I'd deleted due to the still missing older chapters (and no Ck i haven't forgotten but UK paperwork takes a bit of time ) seems it finds old folders/ or hidden ones luckily they haven't noticed anything lost, but it was odd getting those novels back as it was a back up to was done before on a clean win 10 pro >then backed up > installed to the s8 , and it seems there must have been hidden folders with older data , i did fix by just deleting them again but not fully checked if i missing stuff

                                                  Not a bug but I would very much like a justified text align option where text is spaced to fill lines rather than left aligned, as is common in most paper books.
                                                  Also the menu that comes up after tapping the screen has a short delay before it slides into view. Thanks
