Concepts, not only of writing but of the mind as well. When you write it should be your personality and emotion that speaks, not what you deduced to be best. Whatever feels right to you is right, and whatever other people feel is right is right as well. This is because it is based on opinion, and opinion is one of the most flexible things known to man. It is there in your everyday life, even if you don't realize it. Your ideas are largely based on opinion, and your opinions are based on your life experience. How you experience life is based on who you are, and how future events will change you. You are shaped by the world around you, a piece of living clay that is molded by mother earth. At the same time, you can can shape the world, you can change how the world will affect others around you. This does not mean something huge like curing cancer or solving global warming, this can just be in the small actions you put in everyday. Live as if you are a good person, live your life as if every action dictates the fate of others around you. At the same time it is hard to be a good person constantly, and that is not what I'm asking you to be, if you spend your entire life helping others then you will never improve yourself. Sure you'll be a good person, but at what cost. You spent your entire life helping others and trying to stay away from things that are labeled evil by many, but guess what? Those labels are based on opinion as well, for example. Many people believe that drugs such as marijuana or opium are completely evil and should be outlawed, but there are many medicinal; and other positive, effects. It's not as simple as two sides to a coin or two sides to a story. Time is like an ocean, constantly changing and moving; but at the same time ever repeating like the tide. Time exerts more pressure on certain timelines, and in some the timelines move like a tsunami; moving with unstoppable force and imposing might. We, the living and non-living things of this timeline and of many other timelines, are like masses of land. Certain people are clumped together to form continents, others are small stones. In the end though, which force will win? The waves will crush old islands and continents, but new ones will be born. We of the old time continents will eventually be lost in the ocean of time. The ocean will grow bigger, stronger, but the land will grow tougher and will bond together to form even larger continents which will span many years into the future. You will be gone eventually, lost to this sea of time, why not enjoy it? Live without regrets, but at the same time do not live foolishly. This is my concept of time, of life, this is how I write.
