Hi - just wondering if Mao Ni's Nightfall is going to release new chapters. It has been 6 days without any updates. Thanks - getting a little worried that this novel is getting dropped.

Maybe they got jungle fever just like me in the previous week. It was hell, with the bout of fever, no appetite to eat and kept shivering for no reasons at all and fluctuating body temperatures... I was barely writing my own novel and it takes a day or two just to generate a chapter and it was so darn bland.
Luckily I got better now. I'm sure nightfall author may face the same dilemma.

I emailed them for a status update, whether it's been dropped or just temporarily halted, and I got this in response (in a matter of hours, too, may be more effective than asking here, it seems). It's not conclusive but at least we know they're following up:

Got another response last night, no update yet. Hello, webnovel, we're waiting patiently, but patience is running out.
They posted new chapters tonight, so yay! But removed the original 1028 and replaced it with a new one, forcing us to spend again to unlock it. Win some, lose some.
Your message gives me hope but I am not seeing anything but a screen that says "this chapter has been deleted. Please go to Nightfall or Web Novel home". I am going to email them. Very frustrating.
