Are you crazy you expect people to pay exorbitant amounts to temporarily read chapters in advance that will then be locked and will need to be paid for again.
I am absolutely baffled by your outrageous greed.
Unfortunately as i am just finishing a night shift i missread it to say you get access to the chapters not early access to buy them.. so long 2000 spirit stones
krustynobb Yup, I'm in the same boat. I usually just buy enough for the whole month, now I have to buy a another batch of SS just to read the uinlock chapters. Pure BS that was
krustynobb u can get ur refund from Google not from app u have 3 days to get full refund
The unlocking of chapters under privilege will remain unlocked.
CKtalon Yep, lovked because they after 100 blind addicts that would pay no matter what. The user group wich is like gambling addicts and very illegal practice banned in most eu. But cltalon says its ok since you can choose not to. But we all know how addicts are, they can’t choose not to!
CKtalon Remember when you were a translator with integrity and not a sellout? I hope the money is worth it.
QI is greed personified into a corporation
I wish i could see the stats for how many people opt into this
A total ripped off! Such a waste of SS.
I wonder if it'll affect anything if everyone bombed the app rating?
Xenamurai It's similar to gaming addicts, I have seen a lot of gamer addicts using their family credit card and going bankrupt.
Qidian is using that as a weakness to scam the people who are rich or addicted.
Carter Of course it is, brain reacts in the same way for most of types of addictions. Not legal practice everywhere though.
This is why I come to the forums. To get some sense knocked into me. I was so ready to buy the privileges because I am dying to m ow what happens next in Rebirth to a Military Marraige: Good Mornjng Chief. Lol lol Love you guys. It is way to expensive for me. I really want to support the writers and the translators.
UnniSara21 You will need to read it in the original language with Google Translator 🤷
Giovanny1994 unfortunely i have made use of the extra chapters as to not waste my 2000 stone and im im not as unethical as webnovel to try and claim back for a service i have used
They can do it because there are people who actually pay for it. 🙃 Sad that with this I'm afraid we won't get mass release anymore.
xiashenghan Some books will still get mass releases.
CKtalon I'm glad to hear that then. Most of us can only look forward to mass releases as that priviledge access is too expensive.
CMIIW, does this means for privileged novels, there's no more regular cheap to unlock chapters? All have to buy this to continue reading
Uzuki There will be. Usual release rates.
wait so you have to buy the privilege to pay more to unlock them early? I dont understand how this works
I got ripped off as well. The instructions were vague; I should have checked the forums first. Darn. Got click bait there. I didn't think they'll impose restrictions on said privileges. I thought that I'll have 5 advance reading chapter unlocks for which ever novel I choose to read. It turns out I have 5 advance reading unlocks for that 1 novel I applied privileges under. I really thought it would be across the board min 5 chapters a day per novel. WB was truly adapted a misleading deal. Argh! I lost a bunch of SS for nothing. And what's up with the advance chapter? Usually authors/translators update 2 chapters a day. Why is the regular update inclusive in the advance reading chapters? It should be 2chapters (regular) + 5 advance reading chapters. Argh. So frustrating.
itsumademo This is why I’m so baffled. 15 advanced privilege chapters in one novel costs 750 SS and that’s over 160 regular chapters (at an average of 4-6 SS per chapter) so I can’t understand how this scheme is suppose to be logical. And you can’t use that “privilege” on any other novel except the one you purchased it for?!?! Webnovel you MUST be having a laugh! Bloody money suckers! 🤬 Just trash the entire scheme!! I’d rather you just stick to the £19.99 per month instead of this rubbish.
