As the title suggest buying a real book is better than doing this privilege thingy which applies to 1 novel.
Book for a lifetime or... A month of privilege?
Its kinda funny. You used to see all kinds of people jumping forward to defend webnovel and their absurd ss pricing in the beginning. Now? Not a peep lol.
For 2500 SS I can buy the "privilege" to buy 50 chapters in advance. In my country, the cost of 2500 SS can get me AT LEAST 5 novels that have been professionally proofread and edited. If I wait for a book fair or go to a second hand book shop, that number might even jump to 20. It's a pretty obvious decision. I just feel sorry for the people who misread the rules and ended up getting an awful surprise when they learned the privilege does not unlock the chapters.
ace_cap Exactly. These terrible prices are making me go back to reading normal novels again which I have not for years. Higher quality and much much much cheaper. I have been addicted to chinese webnovels for a few years now but I have found that once you stop reading them for a while, it's easy to not go back.
A book for a lifetime wouldn't work well for novels still being released, it'd compromise your long term profits for short-term gains, but it could totally work for ones already completed. Because who's gonna wait for those 15 SS every day (and it will take you months before finishing it) when you can just read all of it for free on a pirated site.
