If you have no idea, recently, there has been a censure on the Chinese site against books with supernatural theme, so being a book written about a Haunted House, my House of Horrors was naturally hit. It disappeared from the CN site but worry not, because it has already returned.
In any case, the author would like to thank all who have supported his work and he's equally as panicked as most of us were when the ban hit.
Now onto the changes to the existing chapters that were done so that the book doesn't violate the rules anymore.
1. The name of real locations used in the book, (eg, Jiujiang has been changed)
2. Gory and bloody scenes have been written out
3. 'Scientific' explanation has been given to certain supernatural scene so they appear less 'supernatural'
But here's the kicker. For the international version, nothing should change as far as I'm concerned. With the permission from the author, he told me to not waste my time doing the 'changes' because they are mere details that would not hinder the plot in any way. If anything, editing them might disrupt the established flow. In summary, editing is too much hassle for its worth [unless of course Webnovel informs me otherwise] so nothing will change for the English version.
But moving forward, we will stick to the clean version [after chapter 680] cause it doesn't make sense for the author to come up with two versions.
Lately, the physical copy for the book [CN Version] is out and you can purchase it on taobao: https://m.intl.taobao.com/detail/detail.html?id=598803050485&spm=a21wu.10013511.7.1
