17 ch/week release rateFree chapters
1 ch/daySo free chapters = 7/week
Total chapters = 17/week10 premium chapters added into the premium pool every week. Next week you will be 20 chapters behind if you don't unlock premium chapters.

JayRs thanks, we'll see if its worth it.. as every chaps have different price of ss, u can imagine paying chapter and all u got is a filler LOL it feels like a roulette everytime you click to pay as u only can read 3-4lines and the rest got hidden., (dont get me wrong, have no problem spending as long as its worth it)
If this program applies to all novels, if I'm Really a Superstar which upload only 9 chps/week... do we get 7 free chapters? or do we need to wait for 10 chps to be ahead of free users to be able to read it as a free user?

Interesting path, can't really say if I support it or not (Logged in just to get a few chapters into RTW vs. waiting), can't say if it's money hogging either. That pateron is no longer a thing though at least in RTW's case, seems to be making the company have more power over the translators, which I can't see being a good thing in the far future.

This is just another form of paywall. One small step towards a much greater step that's been in the plan for getting as much money as they can from us.
It's always been the case in China and now it's spreading here to us.

Flezxy This is what casinos do. You see... this is not really a paywall because you are not directly paying to unlock chapters, you use our own imaginary currency. But because you can get a few stones everyday then it makes it OK.

This money is not going to the translator, or at least the vast majority of it isn't. If you really want to read ahead and support the translator, then donate to their patreon. Don't give your money to qidian.
Yudi ...you can still read the chapters, no? There are just some advanced ones for readers who support the editors, translators, authors, and QI. You don't get to read normal books for free in real life... so why would it be any different for here? How else would an author be able to have an income?
