I think there is nothing wrong with it.it is power rank first so there should be good reviews but i think it don't deserve 1st just good novel but not too good.

If you track the average rankings by week you will notice the other top 9 novels voting has not decreases at all. Shadow hack averaged 20k each week, it means 10k users just suddenly decided to vote for it without decreasing the votes for other novels.
Edit: also it is double the 2nd and 3rd place votes, likely ghosts account or manipulation.

this kind of exploit/bug makes me reluctant on buying stones or supporting in any other means for the platform.
flock I am greatly puzzled how Shadow Hack got 1st place. I recalled Shadow Hack was rank 1 when it first came out and still continue till this day. Would be nice to get some real and honest review on Shadow Hack. Even though I read the first 10 chapters but I cannot get into it. Hence, I dropped it long ago.
I like this novel! It has the tropes and cliches that I brainlessly love.
You have to understand that ghost votings are super common in Webnovel, Qidian, to a lesser extent they are present in Google Play and Apple store. Across the word, ghost campaigns are a multi-billion industry.
Unfortunately, Webnovel does not have the resources or technology to eradicate this. So there will be ghost votes and "water army" claiming that the book is fantastic. just take everything with a grain of sand.
while asking around it seems that the translator of shadow hack promised extra chapters if shadow hack gets first place in power ranking, but even with that promise the novel is just so-so, its ridiculous that its better ranking than release that witch or MMRP rebirth of the guardian, and like someone said shadowhack appeared in the rankings out of nowhere and even more so with more than 20K votes each week... That counting that other novels got more or less the same amouth of votes... meaning? over 10.000 new users appeared out of thin air and are voting for shadow hack. But while im sure that not all the votes of shadow hack are fake, most of them are... I think that shadow hack real votes are between 1k-3k

Frk_ozbk Ratings for webnovel/qidian on NU aren't that great of a metric, as a lot of NU users hold a great deal of hate for qidian and will rate all of their stuff one star on principal.
The Shadow Hack rating is the perfect example of this. Almost half the votes are one star votes.
If memory serves, Shadow Hack came out back when qidian started ad-locking chapters, which helped it draw even more hate and one star reviews.
