it’s interesting for a review to look at a reviewer, it seems to be written that he read the penultimate chapter ... but according to the review itself, something doesn’t look like it ... just a copy of the previous review, but in your own words. Consider this a full review? or is it just an unsubscribe for rating, saving faces, as the Chinese say?
To write a review, you need to read a book, or at least the first 5-10 chapters ... spend time. Then analyze the text. Show the reader’s attitude to the author’s work. Indicate errors, strengths and weaknesses of the author. Of course, most of the reviews are not written by professionals and they are subjective. But sometimes you can get interesting ideas in them to improve your novel.
The review allows you to reveal more clearly the short story, show possible ideas hidden by the author, highlight them, provided, of course, that the reader correctly understands the idea of the author of the short story.
To give an idea of the style of the author, in his ability to reflect the heroes, their world, with what images the author operates. Show its feature.
But in practice ... everything turns out not as in theory ... it comes down to a couple of sentences copied from previous reviewers.
So for the most part, “swap reviews” are not high-quality reviews, which are slightly better - spam or bot reviews, both 5 and 1 star.
This is not a real, not an objective assessment of the work of the author. But as our neighbors say the Persians - if there is no meat, then beets will come down as a hero!
That's how we live!
And so in real life it is difficult to get a review without a swap. Therefore, the question is how objective are the reviews in evaluating the novel?
Probably if there weren’t a set of EXP or swap, but the review would be very few ...
