If I can post my screenshot here I would do so but it’s hard using the app on my iPhone. I haven’t seen the discounted link for more than a week now. I sent an email to Webnovel about it.
I also uninstalled and reinstalled this app just a few minutes ago. I also followed your instructions to check on notifications but there’s nothing except for the daily limited free reading.

Also, please take a look at the app settings and filtering. My settings was set on ENGLISH LANGUAGE and yet it posted novels in other Asian languages.. and it’s still included on the top 10 list too. Please fix this.

On latest android app version, there is no link or banner for this week's 50% discount novels. Please double check your backend to ensure it actually appears on the Featured page and Notifications as aforementioned in the TGIF post ....
The discount banner link used to be on that submenu of the app, but for past couple weeks it has been missing and only the what's new and writing prompts banner links are listed besides the limited free reads and novel listings. I have uploaded a scrolled screenshot of my featured page in-app and there's clearly no weekly discounted novels link or tab/banner .....
oh no looks like godly empress doctor is headed down the same path as master of elixers. in other words, itll be many months before I read any actual new chapters above ch 279. master of elixers is just almost caught up to ch 140 I think it left off at. 
I don't see any of the TGIF releases... heh
Immortal_Goddess There weren't any discounts this week, which is why they weren't showing up. But it says next week there will be, which starts on Mondays
Stumblmer It wasn't missing for weeks; it was available last week. It wasn't here this week because that's what they decided, not a mistake. They're not going to have discounts every single week; it's an addition they allow, not something that's a permanent service. It's also still relatively a new thing and Webnovel didn't always have it. I don't know why people are expecting it to be there forever now..
YulongYuXianTaiyin I got a notification that "I May Be A Fake Cultivator" was on discount and lo and behold, it was!!
But that was a notification to my phone....I still couldn't find the weekly discount page/button/access button anywhere 
Also, they did discount first to draw us readers in, then removed it to replace it with daily free try novels, but they then decided to have both, and in the last app update, the weekly discount button list disappeared.....

Maybe this discount will appear if we update WN version, but still need to wait for region. Notice that from Google Play website (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qidian.Int.reader&hl=en), latest version update is dated Sept 5, 2019 while checking in GP on phone still Aug 26, 2019. Or we just wait it next week
just assumption since we only receive fish head and not full body.

The weekly discounted books was there for a long time. It wasn’t a recent feature, it’s been there for at least almost 2 years.
What was new about it was the 50% discount. When they started the discount program, they only reduced the SS stones by 1-2 stones and would not discount any chapters costing 3SS.
What is recent or new feature is the limited daily reading.
Webnovel didn’t say that it won’t be there weekly. There was no official announcement at all. That link from the app has been missing not just this week or last week.. approximately it’s been 3 weeks starting from that Thursday. I remember for that last week where it was visible there were books on for Discounts but the link disappeared that Thursday of themat week and hasn’t been put back on.
But thank you for replying. Just wish Webnovel has the official announcement about it.

Discount - we just want to know if it’s available or not. It shouldn’t be difficult to give an announcement
