I’ve been wanting to start a web novel but where and how do i publish it? How do i get it on qidian? Ect ect. Thanks in advance.
How to start web novel?
Frankly I didn't really fact-check but I think Qidian hosts translated wuxia novels/web novels written by Chinese authors.
If you want to write I suggest creating a work and submitting it to an editor in a publishing company. If you want to build up your skills you might want to try posting your works in royalroad, a sort of mash up between a webnovel and fanfic site.
If you want to corroborate on a story let me know. I'm a terrible writer overflowing with wonderful ideas.
They soon want to include novels from authors outside of China.
If that ever happens, try to hand in your story. Who knows, they could take in your story.
But currently your best chance would be opening a wordpress site and then make some advertisment or try it at Wuxia World (they currently have 3 original stories) or at the Wuxia World forum.
