Whenever I try to create a novel to join the contest it says it doesn't match the contest.
Based on what I saw whenever I chose the type of book I'm gonna write (either novel or fan-fic) it immediately removes me from the contest. How can I fix that?

I did face the same problem. What happens, I created another novel that it doesn't enter the contest. So I have to try it again, and the first one cannot be deleted (as no delete option).
Try to do it over again but make sure that the lower part showing you the contest you are entering before clicking the create button.
