LostInFictions I know how you feel, in regards to this thread. Personally if I knew how to delete it, I would. I originally wrote it to vent, and get my frustration at the situation off my chest. And possibly find people who have experienced something similar. Never wanted it to take such a twisted turn, and as the creater of this thread I deeply apologize for any negative affect it has had on you. I'm sorry.
Authors deleting reviews
Lilliny Well I think that it is some kind of venting for what is happening, with all the power authors have over the review section.
Venting about not being able to voice their opinion, although it was written in a respectful manner.
Venting about the blatant deception using the synopsis and tags.
Venting about possible waste of spirit stones.
Most of all venting about the down talking and unapreciation from the authors.

Gem4Life Oh, no, please don't. You have done nothing to apologize about. I have said it to you earlier also that I do get where you and a lot of other ones are coming from. It's okay. It really is. Things happen. We learn from them and move on. That's about it.
Cheers.
: )
LostInFictions thank you, cheers to you also
the review system was not implemented for you to critisize and give low stars to novels. It was made so wn can show how many 4 and 5 star ratings they have on their site.
reviews which are lower than 4 stars and contain sound criticism get deleted either by the author or wn. so why bother.
ah it looks like our author deleted my review... time (try) to write a new one!

Elude I cannot talk about my any other comment but I can assure you that the particular one in the discussion - was purely genuine. I read because she tagged me and listed down what seemed errors to me.
Maybe I misunderstood your intention and I guess, you did e same. I am not sure why you felt that it was out of spike but let me tell you very honestly - it wasn't. There is absolutely no reason for me to not accept it if it was the case but it wasn't. I had no issues with the author until she/he went on calling people dumb and what not which was absolutely uncalled for! That's about it.
Sigh. I know how awful it feels to lose a LONG comment that you've spent quite a while writing on. Keeps happening to me every now and then.
Waste of time. Now, you've got it right. This truly is.
Cheers.

Right now, I'm on the fence about it. Her book is bad and she doesn't want to take any criticism so she can improve. And shes clearly just milking her audience. As I think about it more and more, I might just write her off too. Its no fun if the author just goes back on their word...
Lilliny You should just let her do her thing. I think you are wasting your time by doing that as she will only delete your review again and again. Since she does not want to improve then let it go. Not many contracted novels are earning a lot. They rely on the guarantee system most-if not all of the time.
TheBlips I agree. You cannot help someone who doesn't want it. It's futile to even try.
LostInFictions True. Also some people find it hard to accept that some people are criticizing their hard work. As a new writer, I remember crying after i receive my first constructive criticism. I mean... I know my grammar is bad but having someone shove it in my face hurts. hahahah The truth hurts and not everyone can cope with that. Which is sad since we need constant criticism to improve and grow.
