Trash the chapters one by and edit the synopsis.

I suspect WN, won't allow authors to remove novels as to boost its total novel count.

Are you asking how to delete your own story, or other people's stories?

I'm asking because I literally have readers trying to delete my story for being "trash", because they find reading my story irritating, they think my main character is stupid/retarded, etc. and they are actively trying to get my story banned from the site. It got so bad my editor had to assure me that they have no way of deleting my story.

Tomoyuki I really wanna see this story. You seem to have something like twilight on your hands. (Polarizing.)

Acutelittletrap It's not worth wasting your time on, and I already deleted it anyway.

This is literally what a reader ordered me to do: "Nope. Delete it as soon as you reach home. Or delete it on the way. Better yet delete it right now"

So yeah. Nobody else was reading it anyway, so I deleted it to make him happy. The guy just wouldn't stop bugging me when I was at work, and when I told him I would delete it when I get home and asked for his patience, that quote above was his reply. So he forced me to delete my story while I was still in my office. Wow. The entitlement.

Acutelittletrap Why would he want to talk to me? He hates my story to the point he forced me to delete it. I did what he asked. Not sure what else he would talk to me about.

LostInFictions Be glad that you don't have such readers.

Then again, your Begin Again story is so beautifully written and amazing that it's impossible for anyone to hate it. Almost everyone who reads it agrees that it's excellent (I have yet to see a single negative comment or review on your story, other than a single person finding the first chapter confusing - I personally don't find it confusing, for what's it worth, I think it's a lovely first chapter, and I'm still waiting for you to upload your fifth chapter). So I guess it will never be something you have to worry about.

              Tomoyuki

Ah, I think it's just really kind of you to say that. I agree with everyone who finds my first chapter confusing. I didn't realize while writing it back then that it seemed fine to me because I knew the characters but it wouldn't be the same for the readers. I plan to edit it whenever I get time though.

That's right to a great extent. I have got a bunch of beautiful souls who have been extremely generous when it came to appreciating my works. You are yet found a negative review on my story because 70% of people who have reviewed Begin Again so far are the ones who have read my previous works and they ended up liking this one as well. Kind people, I told you. I have a couple of Webnovel readers also and even they have been kind enough to me but I am sure, sooner or later the story is going to receive criticism. I wouldn't mind as long as it is for the story. A couple of personal attacks and I ain't quite sure how I would react. I can't really take them.

You shouldn't have deleted your story. Doesn't seem a good decision to me.

LostInFictions Nobody was reading it except the guy who told me to delete it, so it's no big loss.

I look forward to your updates! Hmm, I thought your first chapter seemed fine to me. I like Evelyn as a character, and you really put in a lot of detail into her perspective and offered us readers a glimpse of her daily life (or job), and the emotional/psychological obstacles that she is currently facing. But that's just me.

Tomoyuki Nobody was reading the story? Views are deceiving?

Junior college - second year. I think, I have mentioned it in the second chapter.

It was just a while ago when I was telling my sister that I am a little too invested in Begin Again when I clearly see not a lot of people are finding it interesting enough to stick around. Nevertheless, the story has so insanely got inside my mind that no matter what happens, I can't drop it.

LostInFictions Yeah, her assignments. Damn, somehow I missed that. I was focused more on her inner conflict and her interaction with Caleb, my bad. Don't drop the story! It's great and has a lot of potential!

I dunno, I never checked views. Views are deceiving, they are always artificially inflated. People often read the story multiple times, so you've to divide them, and most of the views are from bots. And I bet 99% of the remaining views are from people who only read the first chapter and drop the story immediately after that.

                      Tomoyuki

I think, I have said it earlier also and I'll say the same again. We can't please everyone. We are not supposed to please everyone. We are not here to please everyone. Everyone has a different perspective and liking. I don't exactly remember if I have read it in the reviews or the comments in your story that a bunch of people do not like the protagonist wearing specs. I personally love people with specs. I find it really cool.

You get what I am trying to say? You can't really be giving up on your story because some people do not like it the way it is. That way, you are snatching the read from the people who are actually looking for the same stuff. You are snatching their chance of reading who are in need of it. Believe it or not, sooner or later, one always finds people, who can see the things the way one wants them to see - the story and the characters here.

LostInFictions yeah. I've done that. Gone all rock star and erased my story. That's because I was under a belief no one reads it, so I have my tanty and get away with it. Undiscoveredness does that for you.
