If you aren't getting SS, it's likely you signed in using the PC site. So it's best you check-in with the app to receive your SS/Coins.
Update (10:33a GMT+8): It's a bug and has been fixed. People who didn't receive the SS/Coins will receive it in a few hours time.

yup, mistake check in with website and just received 1 coin, multiple reward received 5ss. When i want to unlock some chapter, both website and apps still required SS.

WN... You said upgrade from ss to coin and then you reduce all the ss from reading, check in and delete the video watching...it's so sad and bad

I really like the content on this app however its not catering to its users. At this point it cost more than what its worth. Im going to stop using this app.
I've never done it before, but you'll have to make sure that the 'Farming Mode' toggle in your settings is on, and then you'll need to look for gold pouches which are scattered through the (free?) novels. Then I think you'll need to read those novels, at which point you'll have to watch ads. Watch the ads, and if everything's well, you get the free coins.
Maybe it's better to ask someone else who has actually done it to enlighten you.
