Just so everyone knows, when you unlock something with a fast pass, it stays unlocked FOREVER. The 7 days is how long you have to use the fast pass before the pass goes away, NOT how long something stays unlocked.

Just like the currency in the previous system, it will expire if you don't use it. But what you unlock with it stays unlocked. Don't rage at a new system if you have not taken the time to actually understand it first.

With the new system you can actually unlock more chapters than before, but you have less time to use the pass before it expires than with the currency. Overall I feel this is a much better system, as it allows us to read more for free, but in turn we must be more frequent users on the site to take advantage of it. It's a win win for both users and the site.

Vjum It's still far better than some of the competitors out there. Some give you a random 2-5 currency per checkin, almost no other ways to get them, and an average chapter costs 15. With the system on this site I can read 3-4 chapters every day via fast pass unlock, and still read many other books with no pay wall at all.

I have no issues with this system. We get a decent chunk of content for free, and if we want more, it's not that pricey. $2.99 gets you about 27 chapters. You can't get better than that outside of pirate sites. This is a legal way to get reading content for free and/or super cheap + it helps support new writers.

How about the casual readers

AinzOoalGown I'm a casual reader on this site and I don't have any issues with running out of things to read. I've not had to pay any cash yet, but I do also read on other sites, as different authors are contracted with different sites, so you can't read everything you want on any single place. I wont name the other sites here as it might violate their rules to do so, but they are not hard to find.

You'll have to use the fast pass within 7 days from when you get them because they expire.
But, once you unlock a chapter with the fast pass, that chapter will be unlocked forever.

How to check we have how much fast pass?

Now you cannot get SS though usual means. And i spend all my SS on privilage chapters all the chapters are unlocked but i cannot read because of no SS ans fast pass option ia not there for those privilage chapters. So isn't it cheating for all those who spend SS like me? Unlocked the chapter but can't read. If this is the way WN is.. I might as well as quit reading from this website.

It must be taken note that fast pass does not work on privilege chapters! Which means for privilege chapters only, one need to use coins, which renders the pass obsolete

Fortigan okay so novels like reverend insanity are pretty long one thousand and so along with other novels too I'll have to be pretty patient there is a reason people are angry as you cant save these dumb things called free passes like if you want to read leisurely without having to wait till the next day to read the next chaps this is even worse than cliffhanger-sama I just wanted to read without too this much problems I mean if you think about this is worse than cliffhangers as with cliffhangers you cant do absolutely nothing about it but with this you can do something about it and that is to wast some money of course I have never spent money on online currency because I would rather use it on school materials or clothes or food but using money for reading sure I like reading but not a good deal

Just a note, how does unlocking 3 chapters with fast pass equate to unlocking more chapters than 50 to 60 ss? The statement is correct if you read nothing but 24ss chapter books, but if you have one of those and half a dozen 5 to 6 as chapter books you are actually unlocking obscenely less.

Once more, just remove all ways to read for free past chap 100 and all "premium" systems and offer single novel subscription for 2/4€ per month and whole website subscription for 9,99€ per month. You can then distribute the revenues proportional to the number of words read on each novel on a proportion of 60% translators/editors 20% author 20% webnovel or 80% author/editor 20% novel for original works.
You would get a lot more "paying" readers if you would offer affordable prices. Not like asking even more money to someone who already spend 50€ a month to read 3 novels. Which does the exact opposite of "attracting new readers into the premium systems".

If you are giving then at least give 5 to 7 fast pass for each task ...it's not good only 3fast pass each day

Darth_Xiane I wonder how you got 50/60ss for free everyday, when check in was 10/20, watch add was 5, power Stone and energy Stone 5 each, that's a total of 25 on weekdays 35 on weekend.

KKishh they are not a charity, do you really expect to read everything for free?
If you really don't wanna pay, then just create one account for each novel you follow this way you get more fast passes. Maybe if everyone start doing that they might realize that their prices are too high.

Ahh a year prior people were complaining. nowadays? people can multi account so fast passes aren't a problem.
