Holy crap! Did they just purchase an advance version of Grammarly?

Their machine translation is awesome! Can they machine translate all my typos and grammar issues on my book too?!

I was giving this chestnut a go. I barely noticed any grammar issues at all. In fact, I forgot about spotting slips as the story kept pulling me down the page.

There were some issues. Mostly with full stops not being in places where they should be. But these are small and nothing data analytics can't fix.

Big thumbs up from me.

Btw, probably not going to continue with this book. As it isn't my thing. I realize why this dude likes sci-fi, gaming and anything that involves slash and burn.

It's LingoCloud, not Grammarly. LingoCloud is a web translation app/plugin/extension, whereas Grammarly is a grammar checker and proofreading tool.

So, the MTL is good, then? I haven't checked it.

Cantiara Nice! I'm glad they're investing in tools like these. At least release rates can be faster.

I found it did the trick. Some minor slips, but nothing that distracted from the story. This LingoCloud is quality. Think I might check it out for some of my non-English stories.

Yes, but I hope they won't put these MTL-ed novels behind a paywall, as it won't be fair to their customers.

I hope they will only make these novels premium once they're proven to be popular and also only after they have them manually translated. Otherwise, I hope these novels will stay free. Even better if WN would use these novels as the free novels which free readers can farm points from. That sounds fair to me...

woah this is actually so cool. I just checked it out b/c I saw your post & added the lingocloud extension.
it's definitely a lot better than google translate. I was playing around with translating my novel to chinese w/ the extension, and there are obvious issues too. but it reads a lot lot loottt smoother than google translate.

yaoyueyi I'm an instant fan of LingoCloud too. With any AI stuff, going to be wobbly since it's machine learning. It'll get better the more data is feed into it.

Yeah...I agree ..I am reading one of these books , and it's Grammer is good , I faced some confusion in one of the story , but that's was about characters , I guessed Grammer is good

Veronica8 +1 I was no looking forward to their MTL feature but I'm surprised it was actually better than I expected.

here's what I gave a try. Rebirth person from apocalypse, I stop reading it though lol. Still can't handle MTL no matter how good it is but it's a good alternative to read if your only a free reader.

I think it has better quality because it works only with three languages (English/Chinese/Japanese). As it was developed in China it has better language structure when translates from Ch into Eng.
