I think it is time to move on from the webnovel forever.
Cantiara well I never know that it was a pirated one, I just downloaded it from my android phone today since most of my favorite novels are there, it didn't came to mind that it's pirated since I did the same thing when I started to download this webnovel last 2018. I am a premium user as well as i used more than 10k worth of coins here. It's dissapointing that I can't continue to read my favorites due to high rise of fast pass needed in 1 novel. As I have been reading novels here for a long time it's normal that I got a lot of novels that I been reading for a while now and until now it's still ongoing. I understand that novelist/authors needs to be compensated for their efforts too that's why I have been buying some ss then. Of course when you buy books even used ones you know in the end you will be able to finished the book but this novels I am paying for now you don't even know when it will end. So i am asking for people to give us some slack on voicing our dissapointments so they can come up with solutions to this issue.

Sythcake You know, every weekend I would go to my local gaming store. I would hang out with kids there, have games with them. I would treat them to food and drinks every week, buying each of them a can of soda or snacks, or even a burger for dinner.
But there are months when I can't afford to. When I have to pay taxes, or I bought a bunch of stuff and ended up having less money than I thought I would have for the rest of the month. Whatever the reason, I don't buy them drinks or snacks on that day. I still hang out with them. But the kids don't go up to me and demand, "hey, where's my free drink/snack?" They don't go up and tell me that they are upset that they now have to pay for their previously free soda and snacks themselves if they want them.
And these are 14-year-old kids we are talking about. Funny how they are more mature and less entitled than the readers whining here.
So yes, the people who are whining about having their free stuff taken away are entitled. If you don't want to pay for the stories or translations, then don't. But don't think that translators and writers are entitled to translate or write for free just because we used to be super-generous. We grew up, we found out that we have to pay the rent, we discovered that it was not sustainable to put in hours of labor in writing and translating for free, we realize that there a lot of better things we can do with our time than to translate or write for people who aren't actually repaying us at all. If you don't want to pay for stuff, that's fine. But don't go around acting as if we are obligated to write and translate for free just because it was so in the past. We found out that generously providing free services aren't sustainable, aren't going to put food on our table, and aren't going to pay the rent.
So why are we obligated to continue putting in hours of translating and writing for nothing in return, just so you can have your daily fix of free entertainment like before?
Reading all these posts makes me really glad that the kids I meet in real life are a lot more mature and nicer than the entitled commenters online.
Tomoyuki We all have our own opinions in the matter, nothing anyone can do about it. Besides we are all humans, we have our own likes and dislikes about the subject.

Hmm, I think you're misunderstanding something about the system here. Could you please tell me how do you think the fast pass works?
If you're a premium user and have been using SS (now coins) to unlock chapter, it stays the same (except for the part where they don't offer you bonus coins anymore when you purchase coins). The fast pass is only an extra that you get to unlock a non-privileged premium chapter for free.
And of course, you can rant, that's what the forums are for, for people to share opinions, but expect that there will be differing opinions as well. So, don't get upset when someone counterargues, and don't take it personally. It's just the internet :)

It's not that I don't get your sentiments or understand your situation. I do. However, we have to try and understand the other situation as well.
We don't know stuff. Some authors here might have this only way of earning. They are giving up their rights for the life to earn some amount here. You understand how severe giving up your all rights is? One of the main reasons can be that they are in dire need of money because trust me, every writer loves his/work enough to think a lot of times before even considering giving up his/her right on her story.
Now, if people go and read stuff for free on pirated sites (which is too uncool to accept in my opinion), what is that author going to earn? What is the point of him/her going premium, giving up their rights? There is no point and no, MGS money is truly not enough.
Piracy can't be accepted. I guess more than the writers, the readers should be the ones standing against the pirated content. We respect the hard work of writers, don't we? I am sure we all do. We respect everyone's hardwork and when we do, none can accept piracy doesn't matter if it is about the text, images, videos or any other thing for that matter.
A lot of serious leaving talk. Maybe WN rolled out too much change in one go. 
I've mentioned somewhere else. They could've communicated things better.

Cantiara I dont care about differing opinions it's their point of view. I am just concerned at how I can read more privilege chapters without paying so much. I can read till 50 or 100 chapters of new novels but what's the point if at the end of the day you cant even read until its completion. Your views are your own I am reaching out to webnovel to be more considerare like they did before in giving more free gifts for check ins and bonus .

What do you mean with this? Why can't you read until its completion? I really think you're misunderstanding something about the system here. But I'm not sure what. Because you still can read your favorite novel until its completion, whether or not you purchase privilege.

Forget the ranting free readers, but there are a lot of confused readers who don't even know the difference between points and coins and EXP, and I think you have to give @The_Cheese a medal for patiently answering them one by one! No, better yet, give him free coins, so he can read his comics!

I am just going to end my words here by saying - don't promote pirated sites. Don't support pirated sites.
Piracy is illegal and not something people should support. It hurts to see your story on a platform you didn't put it over. It leaves the authors feeling helpless that no matter what, this would never stop. It is infuriating that the thieves, yes that's the exact word for them, feel not a slightest bit of shame in stealing others' content and putting it on their sites without even bothering to seek a permission but wait why am I even talking about that? Thieves don't ask you before stealing your stuff.
Don't read stuff if you are on a tight budget. I know it sounds awful but if we like a particular thing in a store and we don't have enough money to spare on it at the moment - what do we do? We wait. We wait. We do not go and take that thing temporarily by supporting thieves who steal it.
