I was curious about this new membership program, then I noticed that you guys also added some new offer for 5000coins purchase and 7500.
Then I checked the price and started questioning whether you guys had some issues with math or if no one even bothered to look at them.

Let's start with coin prices:
500 coins for 9,99€
1000 coins for 20,99€
Why would i pay more for something that I could get for 19,98€ ?

2500 coins for 49,99€
5000 coins for 104,99€
7500 coins for 164,99€
??????????? Do I even need to say it?
A normal pricing would be to decrease the unit price of coins the more someone buy them in bulk, not increase it.
For exemple:
250 coins 5,49€
500 coins 9,99€ (= 9% discount)
1000 coins 17,99€ (= 18% discount)
2500 coins 39,99€ (= 27% discount)
5000 coins 74,99€ (= 32% discount)
7500 coins for 99,99€ (= 39% discount)

Now on to the membership program
On the line it says 7,99$ for the first month and 9,99$ for the following months. The conversion rate is 1€ = 1,12$, not the opposite, so why a 7,99$>9,99$ subscription suddenly turns into a 8,49€>10,99€ one when you try to pay? It should be 7,49€>8,99€

    ReachZhai is an engineer in their app development team, he isn't behind WN's pricing strategy, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't know the why either. It's just not his area of expertise. You should be talking to the people from their marketing and accounting departments, and I don't think they even lurk this forum.

    So, if you really want an answer, I think it's better to send them an e-mail. At least, from what I heard, they usually respond within 2-3 business days.

        150 Coins = $2.99 USD
        250 Coins = $4.99 USD
        500 Coins = $9.99 USD
        1000 Coins = $19.99 USD
        2500 Coins = $49.99 USD
        5000 Coins = $99.99 USD

        The pricing for you seems to be different because of conversion and other fees. And it's also possible that the price you see has VAT or some other tax added to it since you seem to have a European Google Play account. (don't know if it's taxes or something else).

                The pricing for coins is a consistent 2¢ to make it easier to to split the money between the author, the translator, and Webnovel themselves. It's not like a game where the gems/gold have arbitrary value because the developers gets all the money anyways and just wants whales buying the most expensive option.

                  They could also just count it as 1coin spent = 1 cent to that novel, and keep the rest for themselves: in my exemple
                  250 coins purchase 5,49€ webnovel keeps 2,99€ for them and redistribute the rest to authors/translators
                  7500 coins purchase 99,99€ webnovel keeps 14,99€ and redistribute the rest to authors/translators.
                  In the end both authors/translators and webnovel wins if more people buy the high bundles because they have better value.

                    And then if they are too lazy to do conversions properly then just let us pay in dollar, because this is literally a rip-off to pay in euro right now.

                      For darn near 10.00$ a month, it should be unlimited. I may on two other sites, Webcomics and TOOMICS, which is less money, and it’s unlimited and some have more chapters for Many of the same comics. I’ll probably be canceling my membership, I went thru the amount in an hour. I also didn’t get the New Year’s bonus.

                          The new pricing system is so bad. If they want to encourage people to sign up for new MEMBERSHIP. They should lower the monthly price to $5 every month. Then they can slowly increase the base price in a year or so. They should learn this from Disney+ streaming service.

                          Overall, very poor advertisements.
