I managed to get fast passes by using someone's friend invite code that they put on a bullet. So I've been trying to pay it forward doing the same thing lol but I'm not sure if its helping.

Yep there's pros and cons of the new change. Especially if you were used to one way of working. The new change is a radical step away from that routine.
Like any new system given time. People are finding ways to milk the new system within the limits. There is a way to keep reading premium for free. It does require fresh thinking. Like working out a video game for the first time.
Also an opportunity to read free stories on the free or new tabs of the phone site and pc. There are lots of quality free stories for the exploring. These are great to read in between premium chapters.
You might want to cheek the_cheese's pinned thread for a run down of changes too.
I'm sorry the new experience hasn't been the best for you. I hope webnovel is able to improve on this in the new year with other options and opportunities.

Showing support for a story can also be giving it a just review, plug recommendations to others, power stone votes (using these gives coins now), leaving comments to thank writer for the chapter... Verbatim that doesn't cost a thing except the time, energy and goodness of heart.
Tbh. What can hurt the story is silence. Writers don't know if a story is valued by others unless they're told. So most writers be inclined to drop them. Unless they really believe and give focus to their story regardless.

gcgien Your question about how to earn more points, I will answer. Some novels have the farming option as indicated by a little yellow bag at the top right corner. If you have your settings on page turn instead of scroll, ads will pop up every few pages. So just flip the pages back and forth in one of these farming novels to gain points. You can actually gain hundreds within an hour if you’re dedicated to this finger tapping of pages lol.

Seriously. :flushed: Farming is addictive. I'm doing this trick too on Schreient's novel (she won't mind. I need to re-read stuff. Cause I'm super slooow. Nice to know there's a perk for this now). I'm almost at the point level for another fast pass.
