Honestly, I don't like the new changes of webnovel. It's hard to read the stories when you don't have free fast. Unlike before you can earn a lot of spirit stones then you can minimize that by reading not expensive novel. But now even thou the chapter worth 1 coins still you need to use 1 fast. I think it's a little bit unfair. You can't maximize the use of free past.

I DEPISE this new update they are essentially making us to cash in this app if we want to continue reading those premium cuz coins is so hard to earn and ticket only once per day ?!?! I can't settle for 1 chap per day !

ladyblack26 ALL locked novels require 1000+ word chapters from now on. THUS, the MINIMUM cost of those chapters will be 5 COINS. this is only the minimum. there are still plenty of authors putting out 13-20+ coin chapters.
why would you use a fast pass on a one coin chapter? that's a personal bad decision/problem. and you do know that costs of chapters are determined by word count, right? why would contracted authors be putting out 1-200 word chapters, if their chapters really only cost 1 coin? if you read "less expensive" novels, you are basically reading novels with less content.
this is not unfair. you are getting just as much content, or even more content, to when WN only gave out free SS. (15-20 daily free coins for checking in & voting. you read 3 novels which have 5 coin, 5 coin, and 10 coin chapters. can unlock the same content with fast passes.)

Like the old version we still can read more chapter per day even we don't have enough stone...now this new version we only read less chapter per day...we can purchase lot of coin but we cannot save the coin...lot of our favorite novel we cannot read because we are not wealthy to purchase the coin...this is make me feel disappointed with web novel if not because of that "bumpy" novel I'll consider to drop this application...
You may not like this, but you cannot change anything. Accept as you have the conditions of the game on the site and enjoy what you have. 3 passes for free, points (but I did not download the app for my old laptop) or buy coins.

yaoyueyi it will be good idea to make balance between the two. and instead of three passes every day. 10 coins and one pass will be much better.

yaoyueyi yes but they also got rid of the bonus SS you get when buying SS correct at the very least it doesnt show up anymore? That's actually significant I was a 50$ SS buyer now I'm probably dropping the app for another. Also yes the old system gave you as a person more power over what your buying. I believe what the person is saying is that they would use SS on cheaper novels that run around 9SS a chapter over the monster 13-15SS some run. Yes I understand that technically your receiving the same amount of words per chapter, but if you managed your SS well you could squeeze an extra chapter out of the novels if you planned well. With these passes it just unlocks a single chapter. Plus they implement a subscription now? This is obviously designed to milk us for money, this reeks of that bull shit Mobile game spending. #dont be a whale
Tbh, this new update is just pushing people away. Like now, I only use this app for fan-fics, whereas before I used to read novels on here. I had like 550 spirt stones that was converted into coins and now I’m left with 195. So yeh I’ll just be moving to read on a new site.
GurenMK2 so basically, what you're saying is that even though authors already earn so little as is, readers should get even more free content so that the authors earn even less money, and eventually, all writers are going to be putting out super short chapters/very little content (by the amount of free stuff you want WN to give you) just so they can get paid & make a living. :rolling_eyes:
it's not called being a whale; it's called paying a normal amount to get your entertainment. WN authors/translators/editors aren't working for free, you know.

yaoyueyi normal amount? Should I contact the police to report drugs usage? In what world does a novel cost the amount of money we pay for these books? I spend ALOT of money on this app, and read alot in real life do not think these authors make nothing. That's ridiculous, if their not making money then I would like to know is taking the crazy amount of money we spend for chapters. You should be mad at them not because I dont want to spend 100s of dollars a month for cheesy fucking stories that are all the same. I like these stories and their fun to read but they are bot worth the price hike.
