That's honestly pretty on point!
Slap slap slap those faces, slappy slap-
add some erotic click bait cover for those extra views

Ah the experiences/comments/reviews from readers on each site is quite different too!
Royal Road demands to be entertained- and a medium level on grammar gradings (Wn is like....grammar bar on the floor)
Scribble hub is pretty new but interactive- I've been posting on it for less than a month but getting lots of comments. (they a solid 7/10 on the grammar harshness)
Wattpad......we no not speak of wattpad.
Of course, fanfictions sites are whole different genre. Honestly, I don't know why I would read fanfics on here? When so many fanfics archives with a better sorting search and #### of results/stories are already on them? But that's why we talking original stories I guess.
enthu_reader psh I'd be super happy with one comment on my chapters lol I've been wanting solid feed back since I started 2 days ago xD but your pain I imagine is about 2 months times my own lol
It's strange on my side though... Land Warrior once only got like 9k views when I stopped writing. When I returned it reached 32k+. It multiplied more than three times. I am just surprised, that's all...
Slewis . Sometimes I even lose my motivation to write.
Allen_Clay012 yeah I saw the views which is pretty awesome!
enthu_reader I mostly write for the fun of it, you can check mine out if youd like :)

ALSO do you happen to know if having 2.0 on the (Daily Read Chapters) is good or not? I cant tell from rentntion bc it just shows 0 for everything
Slewis Sometimes viewership takes time to multiply. If our works does not match what is really the type of genre which the readers of WN want. We will just have to endure the long wait...
Allen_Clay012 yeah I understand that, I cant really complain I'm getting at this rate 1k+ views a day I just wanna see if they're return readers or not lol
Btw you got a discord?
Slewis Discord? nope I don't think I have one yet
enthu_reader That means you're on the true writer's path.
Adding: use this time to revise to your hearts content without repercussion. Also, learning from others or sources to further develop your skills. It's a good time to hone the craft, experiment and go wild.
enthu_reader i feel you Cheer up though!!
enthu_reader Yep. That's also part of the craft. Writing is a discipline as much as it's a joy. Loosing motivation is an easy thing to do. Especially when offline responsibilities gets in the way. I had a 12-year hiatus for one of my series, so I can definitely testify to that.
The trick is to keep writing whenever possible. Remind yourself why you want to write and the initial joy you got out of it.
It's okay to take a breather now and then, but come back to writing something so you don't leave it off for too long. Even if it's just 200 words of random chatter between characters.
Keep writing :smile_cat:
Adding: Be proud of your achievements. You've posted a story on Webnovel. That's an achievement even if it might not seem like one. Some writers draft but don't post anything for years. Pat yourself on the back now and then.
Yeah I had a good buffer of half a dozen chapters for my book, now the inspiration is suddenly running dry and the buffer is no more, sorta feels like tripping in the first leg of a race.
I add to the next chapter go meh then go try and revitalize that inspiration, come back, write a bit more and the cycle continues.
That is so true. I had stockpiled 15 chapters but I didn't have the courage to press the Publish button. I was only a reader till last Nov but now I'm an author of a story. It's so surreal.
I try to focus only on writing and improving myself but sometimes I can't help think about my results.
I guess 172 colls in 2 months is a little slow.. plus when I feel that I have written a very good chp or it was a good plot twist and I don't get any comments, it just sometimes bothers me and I lose my spirit
And then I see other new novels with less chps than mine with great views and reviews and ratings compared to mine and it dampens my mood. Sigh.
But I'm hanging in there for the sake of my 172 readers I will never give up!
enthu_reader 172 colls
That's genuine reader interest in the hundreds! Definitely give yourself credit there.
Darth_Xiane I try to buffer, but I get too trigger happy and post chapter .
That's why I can never do mass release. I did it once and it almost killed my fingers. Like doing a Nanowrimo weekend.
Yeah. When it feels like a chore taking a short break is good.
Guys.
Let me set things clear.
CLICKBAIT TITLE.
CLICBKAIT COVER.
The first aspect elevated my story to 3k collections in 2 monhs
The second aspect turned those 3k colls into 6.5k colls in 1 and a half month.
And well, I write some crazy amounts of chapters, so that might be the case as well.
Time, time gives more natural exposure obviously. More people browsing and checking through adds up.
It's hard but as authors we gotta sometimes just chill and let our world off into the world (like parents to their children T-T)
