That's genuine reader interest in the hundreds! Definitely give yourself credit there.

Darth_Xiane I try to buffer, but I get too trigger happy and post chapter .
That's why I can never do mass release. I did it once and it almost killed my fingers. Like doing a Nanowrimo weekend.
Yeah. When it feels like a chore taking a short break is good.
Guys.
Let me set things clear.
CLICKBAIT TITLE.
CLICBKAIT COVER.
The first aspect elevated my story to 3k collections in 2 monhs
The second aspect turned those 3k colls into 6.5k colls in 1 and a half month.
And well, I write some crazy amounts of chapters, so that might be the case as well.
Time, time gives more natural exposure obviously. More people browsing and checking through adds up.
It's hard but as authors we gotta sometimes just chill and let our world off into the world (like parents to their children T-T)
enthu_reader so true. That's why I am encouraging my self to just update and not compare my book to other books. It makes me less motivated if I compare them. Sometimes I feel bad when I advertise and no one seems so interested. But time will surely tell. And our hard work will be pay off. Why don't you try to have another platform to advertise your novel? Like Wattpad or something. Actually, most of my readers are from Wattpad. Because of them, I have a courage to continue my novel.
This is really the hard life of an author. Imagine the hard work of those author that is getting acknowledge now. They have gone through this and gathered loyal readers that followed them every platform. Cheers for us!

I tend to sit on like 5 chapters giving them time to digest and adjust before I release them. Most of the time, it's because I'm trying make a complicated buildup or arc that spans many chapters.
And apparently, I'm torturing some of my readers right now, by giving them what seems to be the standard isekai story but then launching them on a roller coaster. I'm sitting on at least 5 chapters of cliffhanging material, lol.
Well before I released my book I had the first 16 chapters in the wings then did two chapters a day for a week, in retrospect I should have stretched it to a chapter a day, woulda got two weeks out of it now am down to about 12 hours before my usual release time and instead of two chapters i have the skeleton of half a one. Gah must write like the wind!
I'm from India too but I didn't give up
My work, "Vengeance Upon Fate — Encounters of Tribulation" is a light novel which I published a week ago. To my surprise, I've attained more than 5,000 views. Trying to average around 2 chapters a week depending on my editor. I have plenty of friends putting in powerstones and reviews, but I hope that once I trend on the "new" chart, I'll get more attention from people I don't know. Talking about your book on discord servers helps a lot, I think that is how I grew pretty quick early on.
I must ask though, is there anything that my book is lacking in when it comes to getting attention from readers? I'd honestly like to know! :p
Hayato_Shinohara what discord server?
I'm just shy of 4k and only 2 days old id love to do some more promoting

You'll need to sign up. I think this works straight away after that. Or you may need to wait for a mod to give you more privileges.
Want the cold, harsh reality? You're not getting views because of the horrendous grammar alongside the incomprehensible storyline. I'm sorry, but that's the truth.
I recommend learning the rules regarding grammar; I hope that you can succeed!
Good luck!
Elude Thanks for the tips, reality really bites.
Allen_Clay012 I'm not sure if this is sarcasm, but it's the reason why he's not getting views :/
There's no need to lie to him :$ As authors, we must all accept the unavoidable criticism.
Elude Nah... I am being pessimistic actually. I am kinda sad because I can relate, my grammar is far horrendous.
I know it's not good comparing but... I wish I just can write better. It's just that I do not know where I can spot my errors. I am not very keen towards my mistakes.
Allen_Clay012 Your writing doesn't seem that bad to me, o.o
Cheer up!
Elude Thanks... About earlier, I am sorry, I just have a tendency of acting this way.
Elude would you mind reading like a chapter or 2 of mine and giving me a super critical review?

Allen_Clay012 No worries, haha. I didn't want to be rude in my initial post either. This time around, I just felt like it was better to be completely honest.
Elude In my opinion honest reviews actually is better than pulling punches. Learning can come from the harshest way of teaching because life is never actually kind to failures. That's why it is best to equip oneself with the necessary skills before trying to do something. Writing for one is a difficult discipline, but since we aim to be writers, then we have to get our shit together.
I guess there's no place for free lunch in writing. That's just my two cents.
