Hi,

Atlas Studios is interested in hiring paid editors, preferably readers of the books we do. Perks are, of course, being able to read ahead of time and getting paid!

If you have passed Webnovel's editor test, but have yet to receive replies from them, do contact me!

Contact recruitment@atlas-studios.com

Requirements:
1. Good at English, near-native level proficiency.
2. Plenty of spare time a day for an extended period of time (the faster you edit, the more we can release a day. Minimum 3/day or even more)
3. Dedication and responsibility. Having a sharp eye for details, so that any inconsistencies, or awkward sounding translations can be pointed out.

In the email, include:
1. Webnovel books you read/genre/preferences.
2. Amount of time you can spare a day.

A short editing test is required.

    Can you include a list of Atlas Studio's projects? (Not that I have the time now, but I may in the future.) I don't always notice who the translator is on every project, but usually Atlas Studio's works tend to be more readable than others.

      CKtalon I think the list only shows titles (10) that Atlas has been translating from start to finish or where recent comments have been made. Also, when accessed from the app, it redirects to the home page.

        They have indeed a lot more than the ones showing in the list.

          bluerat doesn't matter, the way the message is set up, it's an alternative route.

          Besides. These are the webnovel requirements:

          First English language speaker;
          Fluent Chinese speaker (Mandarin) is preferred;
          English literature or professional writing major is preferred;
          Deep love and enthusiasm for the reading of web novels, light novels or other fictional genres;
          Good communication skills and quick learner.

          And its on site work for webnovel, not remote...

          As such, you can infer that the OP here meant that having passed webnovel's test is more of an additional bonus point in your favor, or may allow you to skip a stage in your application.

            I just passed my IETLS exam, would i need to take the test as well..??

              I feel the recruitment notice should include the requirements of paying attention to detail and high reading comprehension.

                CKtalon Hi! I applied for the editor position at Atlas Studio, so I was sent the test. I sent it solved a week ago, but haven’t gotten any answer yet. Any idea how long should it take before receiving an answer?

                  CKtalon Hello:) I applied to be an Editor around a week ago and I completed and sent the editing test but since then there has been no reply. I was wondering whether the recruitment process has been delayed for some reason and for how long the delay would last before being resumed. Its just that, if I did pass the test, I hope to get started as soon as possible. Of course I don't won't to rush anyone, I just want to know what's going on. Thank you 😄

                    Blu03 I´m in the same situation. It´s already been two weeks and no answer. Looks like all we can do is wait.
