Maybe it is just me, but it seems some pieces of the story are missing between the latest chapters.. Maybe there are some chapters missing in between, or the story just jump randomly between scenes... Either way, it's hard to keep up with story like that..

Well if you are talking about between 128 and 129.At first it felt to me too..But when i saw 128 ending and 129 starting.I could make the connection between them...
If there is between some chapters.Can you mention between which chapters do you think contents are missing...?

well, chapter 126 end with Li Yunmu exiting the tower and Lin Yuerou waiting for for him at the base. there is no dialogue between the two of them in this chapter as the two just meet. So we can expect some kind of interaction, dialogue, or anything at the begining of the next chapter... but chapter 127 start with Li Yunmu already in the city lord mansion with no explication of what happened, how he got there, if Lin Yuerou told him anything.. it's like there's a whole lot missing between the 2 scenes.

And just like you said, between 128 and 129, it's the same.. some new people are introduced in the scene, but you don't know from where they come from, or anything, and again, it just feel like some pieces are missing, like half the conversation. it start with "Rebellion?" but how did it come to that point?

So yes, you can more or less follow the story, but these missing parts just bother me, and it just make it hard to follow.

Same here. If there is no mistake happened and it is how it is now, then it's some bad writing. Time to stop the hype

I have ease in understanding the novels and those last 4 chapters have been confusing even for min. I believe that the translator made some errors in an attempt to speed up the translation of the chapters.

try to read it on other sites and compare hahaha

Do you really want 7 chapters describing every street vendors stall and the history of every business and house they pass on the way from the tower to the lords estate? I myself want the action to progress..... to the next cliffhanger. ;-)

Bara I'm not saying they should describe every little details. It would bore me to death too. But if the author want to speed up the pace of the story, that's not how you do it. It just messy, and bad writing at this point. One or two paragraphs to show the change in scenery would suffice. Here, it's just missing.

But once again, it's also possible the translator forgot a chapter in between, or that the translation failed to show the change in scenery. I don't know.

Or maybe I'm the one who missed some details that would indicate the change in scenery (English is not my native Langage)
