It's because it's out of stock. READ CAREFULLY! 0/3000 means that there are ZERO ITEMS left out of a THREE THOUSAND STOCK. If the item is gray, it's either because it's out of stock, or you can't afford it. Not a bug.

DevilsMocktail Probably to prevent people from abusing it. Or maybe it's to let people have a 'break' from reading, but clearly, that isn't the case. Though I'm still curious why they placed a 'stock' function even though it is just an online item.
I have also fail to purchase the fast pass with the points and I have never seen its availability from the start of the point system... I think its just a gimmick I lost faith in Web novel.

Well when you consider how slow point accumulation is naturally having a stock would be perfectly fine.
Problem being they never expected a certain someone to turn the point accumulation into a mobile clicker game that insanely gathers points.
So the original stock aspect quickly has run out while the greater rewards were outright removed. I imagine webnovel webmonkeys are in defcon-6 running around trying to avoid the fallout of overlooking the ingenuity of their consumer base
